expecting the world to change is easier than changing yourself. hate to say it, but just get thicker skin, mate. or at least get better at ignoring bs that inhibits you from putting out your best work. should know better as an author in the interaction fiction sub-genre tbh.
You're so right! We should strive to change ourselves to adapt to harmful environments rather than try to make the environments better. Why try to reduce gun crime when you have the money to buy a bullet proof vest instead? Clearly everyone else will be able to do the same and we can keep the same status quo for ourselves and our children rather than trying to actually make their lives better.
