ZOMBIE EXODUS: SAFE HAVEN - PATCH NOTES
- Fixed a bug where your RO gets into an argument with someone you danced with in chapter 9.
- Fixed issues related to food consumption.
- Fixed farm plot food production. You can now build up to three farm plots in Part 3.
- Updated the text when Tommy joins the group in chapter 4.
- Fixed issues related to junkyard offense and defense not calculating correctly.
- Added faster options to trade with other groups.
- Fixed a problem where the autoclave and spectrophotometer were not being added to your inventory after trading.
- Fixed dead Paynes being referenced as alive in the storage facility scene.
- Fixed Paul's dialogue about what the player is currently wearing.
- Lowered the threshold for successfully defending against the Makarovs break-in.
- You can now properly enter a romantic relationship with August.
- Fixed an issue where scavenged items, food, and water were not being calculated correctly.
- When Rachel or Jaime serve as group leader instead of the player character, they now build a balanced and competitive set of junkyard improvements throughout Parts 3 and 4.
- Morale and Allegiance changes:
1. Durable items no longer consumed - Tents, blankets, tarps, and rain gear are now treated as durable goods that don't degrade each chapter
2. Penalty cap added to Part 3 - Morale penalties now capped in both Part 3 and Part 4
3. Clothing consolidated - 6 separate clothing checks (120 penalty points max) reduced to 1 combined check (20 penalty points max)
4. Items no longer zeroed out - Having insufficient items now only applies a penalty, doesn't delete the items
5. Bonus bug fix - Fixed "Painkillers" → "Rain gear" label in Part 3 rain gear section
6. Comfort items' penalties have been reduced.
Rachel (Security-Focused Leadership)
Rachel prioritizes defense and infrastructure, building these improvements by the start of Part 4:
- Reinforced gate and secured perimeter for basic protection
- Northern watchtower for early warning and defense
- Defensive trenches around the junkyard
- Workshop and upgraded workshop for crafting weapons and tools
Throughout Part 4, Rachel continues building:
- Southern watchtower, alarm system, and radio room to complete perimeter defenses and establish communications
- Shooting range for combat training and zombie-powered generator for sustainable energy
- Hydroponic farm and medical infirmary for long-term survival
Jaime (Community-Focused Leadership)
Jaime balances security with quality of life, building these improvements by the start of Part 4:
- Reinforced gate and secured perimeter for essential protection
- Workshop and upgraded workshop for crafting capabilities
- Medical infirmary to care for injured survivors
- Greenhouse for sustainable food production
Throughout Part 4, Jaime continues building:
- Vegetable garden, recreation room, and windmill for improved morale and self-sufficiency
- Chicken coop and smokehouse for diverse food sources
- Southern watchtower for added security and memorial area to honor fallen survivors
