I dislike authors who are too arrogant and/or insecure to listen to feedback. I mean, constructive critism does exist but it's like they're too offended by the assumption that a reader might've found something "wrong" or something that "needs to be corrected" in their work. Like, it's a given that no one person can right the perfect book on their own, right? That's why editors exist. Discord... I don't really understand that app lol. What I've seen only confuses me more. A lot of ppl from a lot of lines of work use it, so it's kinda overwhelming to me. And scary. The screenshots I have seen gave me cult vibes lmao. So needless to say, I'm staying away from that.
