I am merely proposing that people don't shut down discourse and prevent people from expressing their opinions on these matters, that if there is any hope at all to mitigating any degree of certain issues then they deserve to be able to talk without being told that they need to grow a thicker skin and stop caring. That is literally all. And I as a person don't want to sacrifice parts of myself to the void because other people think other people won't change. That seems like it has never gone well. Whether or not they do change doesn't mean that I should let them or the world change me.

those aren't mutually exclusive. sure, try to talk about it as much you like. but as long as we're talking about posting content on the internet, being able to shrug off negativity is a bare minimum.

reminder that no one ever said he/she couldn't talk about it, literally no one. but somehow it evolved into a core pillar of his/her argument 🤷🏼‍♂️.
