On AI, lately;

“I do *not* want an AI “summary” of an email, or a book, or a life. I do not want an AI summary of a winter sky, or my father’s hands, or the hope in my child’s eyes. I do not want an AI summary of the human heart, or the first little shiver of lust, or the long good work of love.” — Joseph Fasano

Authors are slamming Reese Witherspoon for telling followers ‘it’s time to learn AI’ - LA Times - And Sophia Benoit posted, “There’s something particularly insidious about seeing that women — the group you have built your brand on — have not adopted something and instead of assuming it’s out of wisdom, infantalizing them with ‘we’re falling behind.’”

“If you see a celebrity (ie Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Diplo, etc.) that never advocated for a single thing their whole career suddenly posting about AI…baby bird, that’s a commercial. Bought and paid for by a bunch of billionaires that invested heavily into useless tech and are facing a full on bubble burst. Ignore the clowns dancing for their new kings.” — Solomon Georgio

@bydonmartin just did a great break-down on the AI bubble-bursting, to explain why so many celebrities are coming out with thinly-veiled promo-speak in support of AI.
