Any site with ads and pop ups is a risk if you don't know what you're doing. When it doubt always check the comments below a download but often it's just uneducated people who don't understand pirated games even from fitgirl can trigger a false positive. Just use an adblock and be sure you click the right link, it's 2026.

Just to add my two cents in, I’m no novice with the seven seas or false positives (and have even turned to the cursed IGGGames when times were tough after several malware checks and isolating the game to my G-Drive) however, when a site has shown its untrustworthy once in a community riddled with illegal content, that’s all it needs to do. And SteamUnlocked is seen as untrustworthy among its own subreddit and trusted pirating sources people can look into themselves here and here.

Obviously, we’re not people’s parents and can’t stop them from downloading what they wish or even doing so without the right set-up to protect their hardware, but it’s pure ignorance to act like SteamUnlocked *isn’t* renown for shady practices, and a few safe downloads doesn’t deflect their history (of which can be found in the links above).

Anyway, I’m not here to argue as this isn’t the place and obviously you’re okay with the way you’re using it—but it’s just good etiquette to tell people the site you’re linking them to is not seen as safe by a majority of the pirating community. Especially when many people here aren’t coming from backgrounds in torrenting and just want to play free IF’s or VN’s, so they’re far more likely to click on a link thoughtlessly after being conditioned to believe that most communities are as straightforward and safe as this one, and someone here sent them there.
 
Not here to chime in on the steamunlocked debate because I don't know if they're safe or not, but here is the first Arcadia Game I got from cs.rin .ru forums if anyone was worried about it. I reupped to pixeldrain. Edit: I just saw someone posted their own copy before the steamunlocked link was posted but it's not letting me delete the post, sorry.

dude the mods are inactive. at this point, Moderator recruitment needs to open up, but that's not my call 🤷‍♂️

If you’re skilled in Photography and/or have notoriety on the Inkmorrow platform, clients (NPCs from town or campus) may approach you on that platform wishing to be photographed

Clients may request various forms of photoshoots, from simple headshots to boudoir and nude shoots

Managing the client’s nervousness and their rapport with you will make for a better final product — in addition to potentially allowing you to do more during the shoot

Nudity is now taken into account in photographs, requiring a certain Exhibitionism level to post or share them

Nude photos will garner more of a reaction from NPCs they’re gifted to

Implemented a hidden Trust attitude that will, generally, decrease when you bully an NPC or otherwise betray their trust, and increase with positive hangouts, dates, or encounters

An NPC mistrusting you will affect their attitude towards you and what sort of relationship they wish to have with you

Like other attitudes, Trust will tend to normalize over time, though it never quite zeroes out once changed

Added a new prose event that may happen if you’ve been annoying the hell out of somebody who has a romantic partner

Added a new type of possible wardrobe malfunction: the shirt bust! This can afflict characters with a large bust who wear buttoned shirts, and the larger the bust, the greater the chances

Added “shirt bust” events to various event sets throughout the game

Split off “sideboob” incidents into their own form of wardrobe malfunction (contributed by Hee Ho)

Added a new event/encounter to the “special practice” swim sessions

Added some other new events here and there

When buying a giftable physical item at a shop, you now have the option to ship it directly to an NPC of your choice, rather than having to own it yourself and give it away (contributed by CGeorge)

An NPC gifted via store purchase will send a followup message soon after with the same sorts of reactions, milestones acknowledged, and so on as if you had gifted them in person (contributed by CGeorge)

Many fixes and tweaks
