The first time you run the game, it'll take some time, although loading can take a bit either so.

does anyone have the file of the Patreon content of the Tale of Crowns? since the download has expired and kemono is mostly gone.

Joiplay doesn't support Unity.
Alternatives? Can't help with that, it goes way beyond my programming knowledge.

Try winlator. it should be able to run unity since it emulates windows
