Here I go again. Forgetting to do something on this forum. I planned to post the new SoR scene when it came out, but I forgot (again). Although, looking at the timing now… maybe my forgetfulness finally did something right, because instead of one scene, I get to share two: One for SoR and the other for Infamous, woo-hoo!

Maybe forgetting is not something I should be proud of... anyway — here are both scenes in one place:

You can now rent units at Date Palm Apartments in town, and Bancroft Suites on campus

Both types of units contain multiple rooms that you can decorate individually

Added new beds, desks, televisions, and other stuff to the department store in town (note that most of this stuff isn’t for dorm rooms or Greek rooms, just the larger units — you won’t see it until you’re renting a place where it will fit)

Refactored furniture and decor so that different locations maintain different sets of inventory

Furniture is now “packed” when purchased, and can be unpacked at a housing location through a new “Arrange furniture” action at each location

Furniture items which previously did not allow duplicates can now be purchased multiple times and held in your “packed” inventory, however they cannot be unpacked in the same location more than once — tradein items are an exception, just pack up an item like a bed that you want to trade in before visiting the store

Gifting furniture and decor items now takes them exclusively from your “packed” inventory and will not let you give away items you’re currently using

Similarly, furniture and decor items gifted to you now go into your “packed” inventory rather than being instantly deployed to your room

Having a room in your Greek house no longer prevents access to your dorm room in Chicory Hall (which was only the case before because they did not maintain separate inventories and seeing your possessions teleport was strange)

For simplicity and quality of life, most collectible decor items are considered “universal” and will show up wherever you decide to stay; most furniture and decor items with mechanical effects, however, are location-based

Added NPC moods, which are visible on their profile card and may also be hinted at when you speak to them in person

Added the Neglected special mood, which occurs when you’ve been ignoring a friend or romantic partner and may lead to impactful changes in your relationship

Romantic partner NPCs who feel neglected and/or are inclined to cheat may now attempt to secretly cheat on the PC (note that this behavior requires the Cheating content option to be toggled on, which is off by default)

Added some events related to the PC potentially catching a cheating NPC partner in the act and witnessing the encounter

You can confront an NPC partner over their cheating, which may lead to renegotiating the relationship, breaking up, forgiving them, or the NPC partner deciding they’re done with the relationship

*** between NPCs is now more thoroughly simulated, including virginity loss and the possibility of becoming pregnant

A new badge has been added to indicate when an NPC is visibly pregnant or otherwise known to be pregnant

Save Options now include toggles for whether to import cross-save data attached to saves (currently just self-published books) and whether to attach it to exported saves

Adding an NPC to a people group will now have them considered relevant in the same way that adding them to Favorites does

The Drama slider has been surfaced under Difficulty Options, and affects NPC relationship volatility

An NPC who is busy when you’re trying to schedule a hangout with them will now suggest a different day instead of requiring you to restart the interaction (contributed by CGeorge)

Rearranged some links on the video platform sites for quality of life reasons (contributed by CGeorge)

Reversed sorting of videos on the video platform sites (contributed by CGeorge)

Added a second exit link to the video platform sites so you don’t lose it from scrolling (contributed by CGeorge)

Made the list of APT videos easier to read (contributed by CGeorge)

Added further info to APT videos during editing so you have a better idea which video you’re working with (contributed by CGeorge)
