In this thread share the wips that can rival the micro updates of bastard of camelot lol

Criteria for inclusion:

1. Several rewrites (not necessary but funnier)
2. Micro update didn't even take 30-60 minutes to finish
3. Long periods between "updates"

Let the haterism flourish for our joined entertainment.

[PvP enabled zone]

I'll go first; flowers for the demon king can give BoC a run for its money. It's been so long and its still not out of character making section.

It was almost what? 5 years between the current update and the last one?? Lmfao, don't forget how, after the 5-year wait, the addition was basically 5 minutes. Get outta here. Just let an AI write the whole thing, and you edit it to fit your vision. At least then there'd be something.

If I remember correctly flame is supposedly a full time writer now, but hasnt even updated his patreon since November.
My pick since some of the big ones were taken is The Thousand of Us every update I have seen for that game is like 10 minutes of content for months between updates.

Since the rules aren't ironclad, I'm also putting Wayfarer here. What happens first? BoC getting out of the childhood arc or Wayfarer chapter 4's Patreon release (Chapter 3's public). It fails criteria 1 and 2 but boy is Wayfarer gold standard for 3.

I do know that chapter 3 of BoC would be two books long and filled with unnecessary padding and fluff (Llama decided to add a Patreon short story into the main storyline again and why is always that chapter).

Another one would be Shepherds of Haven.

may i contribute with two wip´s? one of them is vendetta who has been 3 years since an update, personally the game was good i liked its dark theme. The other one is era of the archdemon with its constant rewrites and small updates that i started to hate the game, i liked the first version of the game but no more.

I am discounting Vendetta because the author is MIA plus NONE OF THE CRITERIA FOR POSTING ARE MET.

You leave my favourite IF alone or so help me god...


Fr tho, if Vendetta's author never comes back. I will 1000% take up the mantle, I am not joking. This is a threat; I will make Ash and Skylar romancable in a V-poly on the Mafia path.

Also, I remember that mythical wip by fat_cat...., who wrote a very ambitious IF that could have possibly rivaled TSOR (The book 1), but was ruined because of his indicisiveness. S hi t continued for two years, writing, rewriting, small shitty updates until he finally hid his face in shame.

i would love if someone takes the mantle of The Fallen Divine, it was my favourite IF game, A sadness that ended incomplete.
