how in the world does the mod menu works? because everything goes down everytime I try to get it up lol

There is an option to freeze stats which is essential for keeping attributes and skill levels; use that after setting stats as per your desire.

when I click return to the game it restarts everything, but it's fine I don't need the mod menu the skills bonus are enough

Save then restart then load the save then use the menu that has worked for me when that happened
