Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

Do you think that's what White Tiger Chi is kinda supposed to be? It seems to be connected to permanently ending this era, which stands in opposition to the Jade Dragons constant respawning.
Mayhaps? They're both chi that stems from legendary beings (White Tiger is a Pillar, whatever that means, while Jade Dragons are... Jade Dragons), one has connection with the Heaven while the other is coveted and revered by a group of obviously evil people (though I'm not sure if the other Akuma Lords are demonic cultivator themselves, but we do know the OG Taio is one).

The fact that absorbing the White Tiger chi is optional, just like starting demonic cultivation by absorbing Bandit Taio's book was kinda point that it MIGHT be intended by Anon to be the evil version of Jade Dragon chi.

Though, it's such a shame if so. Imagine the notoriety you'll have if you became THE first Fallen Jade Dragon, and consequently making a new type of chi. Be the first one to get classified as the Crimson Dragon or something.

I wonder if JDF Oni would be able to get around that tho. Since Oni have a unique connection to corrupted/demonic Chi.
So far, Anon has given us the ability to avoid most bad outcomes. I wouldn't be surprised if playing as an Oni somehow cancels the negative effects of being a demonic cultivator as a JDF. Negative times negative and all that. This is the one theory I hope I am wrong about. I genuinely want a demonic JDF to fail because it's just such a bad choice to make.

Concurrently, Demonic Cultivator JDF MC should be THE most powerful version of MC, since it's no longer the dichotomy of 'talent' and 'effort', but both hand-in-hand.
Effort ? Mortal limits MC should be the one representing effort. Demonic Mc is merely someone following a cowards way. Absorbing the essence of the weak while fearing the strong. Only thing he walks is a path of ruin for both others and himself.

Anyways, Speaking of the White Tiger I kinda assumed it was kinda like Alduin from Skyrim i.e representing the end of the current cycle(Kalpa) and heralding the start of the next. The calamity which shattered Cathay was the failed end of the current cycle and that's why they called it an "Imperfect" cycle. Maybe a bunch of jade dragons stopped the White Tiger from ending the current cycle which scattered it's essence around the world.

Of course, this raises the question that if White Tiger just presents "Change" which is bound to happen, why would a bunch of jade dragons decide to stop it? Maybe, like it represents change, all life represents survival. So every creature has the right to try and stop the destruction.

Kinda like Alduin is fated to end the world but the last Dragonborn is fated to stop it. So the last Dragonborn represents the current cycle's will to survive while Alduin represents its end. So in the end both must clash to decide the fate of everything.

Where'd you get the 'fearing the strong' part? Obviously Dead Mountain Glaive-ing and Hell Bargain-ing strong cultivator and spirits would yield higher yield compared to doing so to weaklings, Anon just hasn't given us the opportunity to do so yet (since stronger opponents are currently all named and important characters). Not like Demonic Cultivation MC fights a different set of opponents compared to MCs that don't.

And Mortal Limit representing effort? What a laugh! What's there to be proud about from being born like everyone else? What's there to brag about from staying under the yoke of Heaven? Where's your pride as a cultivator? Break that chain as soon as you can. If it takes sealing a spirit inside you to do so, who cares?

From my point of view, it's those who don't delve into Demonic Cultivation that are cowards. Unwilling to sacrifice themselves or dirty their hands for power, content with the lot handed to them by the Heaven. Like obedient cattle! Their cowardice and complacency makes me sick...

Mortal limits are imposed by the world itself to stop your growth. Using your own effort to go past them is where true strength lies. That's what having true pride looks like.

Yet all demonic cultivators can do is steal the effort of others to empower themselves, having no conviction in their own capabilities to do so, merely relying on what others have achieved. What pride is there to be had when all you can do is fear the day you are discovered by the truly strong and removed from this world ? Always hiding your true nature of cowardice and even convincing yourself that you are "strong" while only relying on strength you can plunder from others. If you cannot even walk your own path through your own merits, you can't even be called a cultivator.

Your own weakness is plain as day to see.

I think that ver of the MC is going to get completely ****ed in the long run

@Diamondhead said something like that atleast? ...Was it you bro? 😭
You cannot use harmony as a JDF if you have demonic and yeah moreover you corrupt your soul and lose the power of reincarnation too and you would instead be consumed like some common Demonic bum by the Hells and there are many other problems which will appear if you somehow even survive lol enough. So yeah no JDF had been a bum *** like this ever except you can be the first bum *** to do it lol.
Also Demonic path is just a worse off path the longer you are on it but too many spoilers I think people should find why it is bad in their own later even for normal paths.
