Btw @Diamondhead could you explain the whole Pure Ying/Pure Yang thing to me? Are there elements I should pick to each style gameplay wise? Or is it a lore thing?

Non ironically it's a valid strategy in ML. Because the AP gained by wounds isn't halved in ML too, so, if create a build specialized on it(Monkey Yokai, Midorikatai & Fire element) you can still gain +12 AP for each wound.

So each technique gives you +3 AP.per wound huh?

Pure Yang is kii as a style
Pure Yin is kuro as a style
Mido is 90 percent Yang and 10 percent Yin
Aka is 90 percent Yin and 10 percent Yang
Aoyu is like water 50/50 or can also work as yang or Yin
Gameplay wise it doesn't matter really your there was supposed to be downsides to having let's say double Yin as a guy meaning both elements as Yin or Double Yang elements as a woman they aren't atleast right now there but it will likely have effects later and Anon pointed it out a lot while saying it is fine to have double yang elements as a guy or double Yin as a woman
So for now it doesn't matter but yeah Anon says either have balance one Yin and Yang element or have both elements that is your nature men(yang) women(Yin)

As only kuro and kii can make the worst builds
Like triple Yin as a guy or a triple yang with kii for a woman wonder how would those builds go later that said most important is your elements nature for having this balance or doubling down on your nature both are fine just not doubling down against your nature.

Do you have like a list of what each element is? I recall someone on here said something like water is both yin and yang? While google says it's yin so I assume it's different than normal

I can definitely see the perks of water, since you basically get to avoid imbalance by picking it, on top of healing and a bunch of opportunities.

You guys are worrying over nothing. An anon who's working on book 4 will have been writing demonic and non demonic content alike for 10+ years. It only takes a moment for him to change his mind, and that moment has room for a decade.

Some of you reading this might not even survive to see such a future, if it even exists.

I also don't find it nice to want an author to compromise on his worldbuilding because you don't want leopards to eat your face. Though I do see the worry of having your choices lead to nothing (COUGH versus COUGH heroes rise) anon obviously hasn't been writing worthless bullcrap so far, so I don't expect anyone to actually be blindsided by what they get at all.
