Btw @Diamondhead could you explain the whole Pure Ying/Pure Yang thing to me? Are there elements I should pick to each style gameplay wise? Or is it a lore thing?

Pure Yang is kii as a style
Pure Yin is kuro as a style
Mido is 90 percent Yang and 10 percent Yin
Aka is 90 percent Yin and 10 percent Yang
Aoyu is like water 50/50 or can also work as yang or Yin
Gameplay wise it doesn't matter really your there was supposed to be downsides to having let's say double Yin as a guy meaning both elements as Yin or Double Yang elements as a woman they aren't atleast right now there but it will likely have effects later and Anon pointed it out a lot while saying it is fine to have double yang elements as a guy or double Yin as a woman
So for now it doesn't matter but yeah Anon says either have balance one Yin and Yang element or have both elements that is your nature men(yang) women(Yin)

Like triple Yin as a guy or a triple yang with kii for a woman wonder how would those builds go later that said most important is your elements nature for having this balance or doubling down on your nature both are fine just not doubling down against your nature.
Do you have like a list of what each element is? I recall someone on here said something like water is both yin and yang? While google says it's yin so I assume it's different than normal

I can definitely see the perks of water, since you basically get to avoid imbalance by picking it, on top of healing and a bunch of opportunities.

You guys are worrying over nothing. An anon who's working on book 4 will have been writing demonic and non demonic content alike for 10+ years. It only takes a moment for him to change his mind, and that moment has room for a decade.

I also don't find it nice to want an author to compromise on his worldbuilding because you don't want leopards to eat your face. Though I do see the worry of having your choices lead to nothing (COUGH versus COUGH heroes rise) anon obviously hasn't been writing worthless bullcrap so far, so I don't expect anyone to actually be blindsided by what they get at all.

You know, the most recent trial in the latest chapter (where we get mounts) made me remember this one particular scene where you get trained by Tian Fang before meeting the 2nd Taio.
Previously Fang said that our own "Beast Affinity" would allow us to pick a specific animal type that we are most sustainable, like how she has her wolf pack, and it's a completely separate from our Roc Bird.
So that means that we actually get 2 battle pets for the Midorikatai style including the Roc, but it's kind of weird to think about it now considering that we haven't really gotten the chance to get our Beast affinity like Tian Fang so far, and it seems like it's probably already too late to do so because we are so far ahead in the trials.

Book 2 sadly that's when we will get out mido pet.
Not sure if it's intentional but beating the Wight in the dragon trial only gives favor with the Bladed lands and not score points.
Also, for freeing the people legally in the Desdemona quest you first get +1 point for making the choice and then +1 from Eldra as well.
Also don't get your hopes up but there is actually a gender check when Eldra hands you the point. So for the people who wanna romance her as a non Jade Dragon, there might be a 0.0001% chance of it happening.

It's because of you meet her before the actual romance lock happens lol not because there is chance for something else as this moment can happen way before you formally meet her sorry to destroy the 0.0001 percent hope.
I was thinking, isn't it weird we can get more days to reach Nanhou with our ships, but we don't get more days to spend on Nanhou itself?
Tbh personally I don't really care because if it happens in the story she ain't beating the allegations which are already raised.
If I remember correctly you spend more time at sea so you get to do anything extra activity there so you reach at the same time regardless.
That's the point. I don't see why we don't rush to get more time on land.
