Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

I was thinking about something; which martial arts (as in real-world martial arts) do y'all think the characters use? I remember a line in the fight against Jack where it says he took a boxing stance (or block, I don't remember well), and also several wrestling moves being used through all the fights, but not much beyond that.

I think my MC uses Krav Maga, because it’s an anything-goes style of fighting—especially in life-or-death situations.

Most mido users and sects or even schools have background with boxing, Karate, kickboxing, Grappling or even MMA.

While Akakiru is ofcourse using blades and mastering different forms of using it.

Aoyu has monks doing strength training and also some real life martial arts not to the extent of mido tho since every mido school or sect have a background always.

Kii and Kuro doesn't unless you count real life ninjustsu which is basically to not get caught but their Powers help in that a lot.
Tho a kii user in a sect which has most mido users is bound to be trained in the sect's background martial art or if they are part of the temple they can join the monks and learn from them.

I might be missing something here, but why aren't leaders and village chiefs (like Magistrate Khan) trying to get as many people as possible to develop auras—even just basic ones?

I know they wouldn't make great warriors, but they would still be stronger, faster, and more resilient farmers who live longer lives. Even if it were very expensive, it still seems like something that would yield a return on investment.

And even the beasts—which would be the biggest problem in this scenario—don't attack humans with auras when they are in large numbers.
