Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

I was thinking about something; which martial arts (as in real-world martial arts) do y'all think the characters use? I remember a line in the fight against Jack where it says he took a boxing stance (or block, I don't remember well), and also several wrestling moves being used through all the fights, but not much beyond that.

I think my MC uses Krav Maga, because it’s an anything-goes style of fighting—especially in life-or-death situations.

Most mido users and sects or even schools have background with boxing, Karate, kickboxing, Grappling or even MMA.

While Akakiru is ofcourse using blades and mastering different forms of using it.

Aoyu has monks doing strength training and also some real life martial arts not to the extent of mido tho since every mido school or sect have a background always.

Kii and Kuro doesn't unless you count real life ninjustsu which is basically to not get caught but their Powers help in that a lot.
Tho a kii user in a sect which has most mido users is bound to be trained in the sect's background martial art or if they are part of the temple they can join the monks and learn from them.

I might be missing something here, but why aren't leaders and village chiefs (like Magistrate Khan) trying to get as many people as possible to develop auras—even just basic ones?

I know they wouldn't make great warriors, but they would still be stronger, faster, and more resilient farmers who live longer lives. Even if it were very expensive, it still seems like something that would yield a return on investment.

And even the beasts—which would be the biggest problem in this scenario—don't attack humans with auras when they are in large numbers.

Because it is bad ? Obviously and no one wants to work way harder then they already need to ,getting a basic aura is the worst possible choice if you aren't gonna try to get stronger and many can't even if they try also then you mee to maintain it and train enough if you don't you will lose ap and since the aura is so little you will lose it and then rinse and repeat.

Also You just answered it yourself" don't attack large groups of people with weak auras" so now every time you need send 10-20 of these weaklings for the task that one can could have done by one non powered guy even worse is now they cannot go out for the village for anything on their own like they are basically caged unless they have 10-20 people going with them, they are free food for all They need to defend and fight for the settlement if they have an aura. Warriors die so much you don't need much to get an Aura it's cheap but once again why would you and if enough warriors die now you need to fight because you have an aura also you lose all protection as a normal laborer has now you are test dummy for all and they will use that to try moves on you.so basically
Become food for every beast unless you walk in a group for a basic task also smarter and more powerful beasts can distinguish between auras so those Beasts will come to eat all 20 weak auras too so it isn't even foolproof, after that everyone needs to work hard to maintain ap also most people have trash talent (1-2/10)3-4 is considered good for laborer.

Rasen and even outer settlements have enough martial artists anyways and why would most of them waste their time on this they can make more money doing their normal jobs and not become or be forced to fight.
Khan cannot force people to have Auras one chooses to pursue it and it isn't hard to join at all even without basics but again the cons are too much.

This isn't poma or your average Cultivation world where the peasants have it bad they have it better than most of the warriors only the top warriors of a settlements have it better and still they can die anytime. A peasant's life is safe and sound in a settlement also people pick their profession rather than forced to get one and that small ap isn't gonna give them a longer life either even if they wouldn't die few weeks later.
So there are too many factors why people don't try
Lack of talent level the mc is an anomaly as I said 3-4 talent is considered good for labores the average is 1-2 why would they do this and risk their lives they are never getting to a level where they can be safe properly, lack of resources,no desire to put your life in risk for nothing, having a good life as a laborer, having more than enough people with Aura already.I can keep going on about it.

I do a horrible job of showing it but the inspirations are:

Aoyusumu: Shaolin for physical, Tai Chi when using Sacred Chi because it makes it hilariously work.
Akakiru: All Swordsmanship (hundreds of Schools is the point)
Kiihakai: Tae Kwon Do, hands are for sealing so send the feet.
Kurokonton: Taijutsu is an overused term so if you want to see the BS hand to hand they focus on, look into Togakure-ryu
Midorikatai: Striker styles like Kenpo and Muay Thai but in reality it synergizes best with our champion you'll see on Monday Night Raw AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA!
