I have wondered one thing when your helping guiren before or after the trials (depending on the player) their is a choice calle bond with the snake and I've tried various character choices and I have never managed to activate that choice.
You were still the first one to mention it though. Basically unprompted. So don't try to pass on blame here. You are the guilty one here.

We should not meet whoever got Kaito his foundation. Who knows what other twisted experiments he's up to nowadays
Golden showers aside, I do wish there were some elements from the Fate series in AC. I know why there isn't; the anime and games are pretty niche, and the verse is extremely hax-heavy. The closest we got were soul domains, which I can compare to reality marbles. But I wished us swordsmen got big sword beams too; it doesn't work with the established lore, I am aware, but it doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool.

Any race, but personally I recommend a Yokai run. Earth and Ice if you want to be a physical brute when it comes to elements; otherwise, just pick any other element to go alongside Earth. Invest heavily in fortitude and power cores. I believe that handwraps are the weapon of choice for a mido run as well. Also make sure you get the Waverunner armor; if you play as a Yokai, you will have to do some ***-kissing to get it, but still it's good. I think that's everything; there are no optimal or real meta runs; anything can work in AC as long as you pay attention.
Storm & Fire for elements (Mao build + for strongest Thunderfall version you can get in the future)
Asura transformation (Titan if you go monkey for Oozaru reference)
Go with Eldra (especially if JDF) or Yang (Kaito's a bit pointless because you can get taming naturally as mido in the future)
I've thought about asking for a Gate of Babylon/Unlimited Blade Works-type thing for high level Aka users (i.e. something that wouldn't show up until like book 3, maybe late in book 2).
Now that I think about it, akakiru should be able to use bow and arrow. I mean it can be used on any sharp things like someone else's teeth and the tip of an arrow is sharp. It'd be funny using a bladed style only to use a bow and basically it's reverse Archer.

One tip for aoyu players is don't pray to any wild gods or their spawn, shits embarassing to see. On a serious note, if you play aoyu stick to full compassionate because it has hidden bonus synergising during fights(I think chapter 8 and 9 has this), maybe once fallen saint transformation is real you can go the other way but for now it's pointless.
It can probably be understood that any waste products would vanish after turning back into their normal form even if it is seperate from the body.
However, if the Mido in question is a Water element user, they might be able to continuously produce an excess amount of p*ss in Titan form and maintain it even when they turn back

Counterpoint, be a High Compassion Demonic Cultuvator. It's entirely possible and the only reason there is an option to kill deer instead of a person. This will annoy Taio but that's the point
