As of the previous update, 8.1, it has. I got into number 5, below Jack, without using the Jade Dragon Foundation.

Smh I don't know how you don't when the dev spoonfed you .JDF mc has never needed gates to help him but he has still always used gates to further buff him a bad habit developed which was never needed ,we already learned how fuel foundation destroys you in long run.So just like normal runs your cores got shattered because of your fuel foundation reaching it's limits,the JDF mc even laments it how if he had known he would tear the fuel foundation from his body or how he feels the entire JDF soul is leaving him.Normal mc needs gates. JDF never did but greed and bad habits got him.If JDF didn't use the gate power he would handle jack because narratively JDF is 4000-5000 AP there is even a check in code for 5000 AP .If JDF doesn't use the gates he would handle jack till jack transformed then JDF would have trouble because transformed jack is above 6k AP then either JDF mc hits above his weight like he did against black flower or he will need to outlast jack survive for 2-3 minutes till jack loses his transformation but yeah it would have been a close fight.But instead JDF used the gates when he didn't need to and put more pressure on his fuel foundation which results in the shattered cores if anything it was worse for Jdf as the game tells your JDF foundation is leaving your body there are like 3-4 times explaining things I don't know how you even missed it.It's spoonfed to you.You can't access strength when your cores are broken JDF mc got punished for greed and habit at the same time JDF mc had no idea there is such a bad effect to fuel foundation and so JDF mc ended up simply being unable to use power because shattered cores are shattered cores regardless then all he could use was whatever the Gate had left.So it was bound to happen in a month both normal and jdf mc have gained way too much AP canonically.

Ok, first of all, it has been a long day at uni, so do forgive me if i was a bit late in responding to the reports in this thread. Secondly, I'm very disappointed in you people. This is the thread for discussing about Aura Clash itself, not a place for you to vent your anger and hatred toward people who are different from you(who has done you no harm whatsoever simply because they have a different preference). Once again, this forum does not tolerate hatred and such.
One final bit of problem is that people are saying the author of Aura Clash homophobic not because he want to write straight romance only, but because he has went out of his way to specifically put in code snippets that would stop people who use console to mod in gay romance. Also something like allowing rampant homophobia, misogyny and racism to run in his server or something to the point it get so bad where cog forum mods have to ban it, but idk since i was banned from his server.

I thought that MC didnt use JDF cuz he keep it as his last resort, like an ace up his sleeve. But by the time he had the need to use it, he had already shattered his cores. Thats what i got from the fight. He even curses his JDC towards the end of the fight for doing nothing. MC knows JDC is op af but still refused to use it throughout the fight cuz there was already a gate powering him up. Its clear that in base MC is nowhere close to the strength of Jack. Bro needed too much plot armor for a draw. Not that im complaining, happens a lot in power fantasy and action fictions. Whats annoying is that MC breaks himself to draw Jack when Jack allegedly gets away without any debuff and has an opportunity to be trained by an Archon. Either he hit the jackpot or is in trouble seeing how the Archons know about the White Tiger from us.
Also, No need to act all high and mighty about **** like this. It doesn't cost you anything to polite and respectful of others, but seeing how you agree with a bigot, i shouldnt expect much from you.

As for the thing he says that his JDF didn't do anything is because once his core shatters he tried using the power but it wasn't working so the mc is referring to that that's why I said reread the fight again.I myself did it many times and then had a talk about it with anon to confirm it.Mc got ****ed up because of his bad habits and greed.As for the training well it was going to happen because the normal MC's need powerups to catch upto top 5 without gates and archon training is what will push that as for Jack well he is supposed to be number 1 Ap wise and was supposed to be number 1 till he got his dragon trial score destroyed so he wouldn't be much of number 1 if he got some debuffs also he has 2 years on us he is 21 and mc is 19 .It will be nice to see how both mc and jack progress as Jack will be trained by the wild Exalt. It will be great when Jack and mc get into their next bout also I want to see what stuff goro and tiger will pull out.

This is also my first time playing the update, in fact this was my first time playing content after ch 5 and i played it once a long time back. I didn't have the opportunity to 'reread' it as you say so easily. Suffice to say, i only intend to discuss the game. This I think is a point that is severely overlooked, mc didn't get even a fraction of training, teaching and guidance that Jack did, thunderfaller is flumbing and crawling on his own like a blind man in the dark I would say it excuses a lot of things.
Unlike wu heir, nope top sect even teachers, family is down and out but got a full set of techniques ready, thunderfaller with same treatment? I wonder how far the guy can go.
