No because Mao didn't spoil jack,Mao also didn't give young master resources to jack he only gave him knowledge because anything else was spoiling,there is a reason why Mao doesn't do anything when Jack gets beat up the first time when both Mc and jack has no Aura the only reason Mao interferes the second time is because Jack almost died that's as he said the only reason he is there is because of Jack and his son almost dying made him actually mad.So it is just jack being a shithead he wasn't spoiled like we know in stories and in a World where during the second fight if mc only knocks him out.Mao still wouldn't interfere and would only call jack a bum.

And yeah mc who is aligned with thunderfall sect will have good relationship with mao and others.

So jack and his friends were jealous of mc and his siblings because they were able to cycle shards and get ap(cycling shards isn't good for you btw especially too much) So the reason the twins are somewhat decent is because of cycling lol most of the warriors you will see aren't allowed to cycle when they are young.
So even if mao told him not to wouldn't matter because it was solely because everyone trains hard and gets their aura while some laborers cycle shards and are getting ap to get their Aura.
Not taking any sides but yeah it is why it all makes sense lol.
That is Book 4 level lol and mao would be dead anyways by then because it will take a while to reach 15k
Narratively we are hitting like 8k-10k ap by the end of book 2 as Archon and 12k+ as jdf archon because as I said previously it is hard asf to grow past a certain point.
If I remember correctly Anon said that rivalry with Jack will end in first book. Does we struck with Jack for whole series?
Lmaoo no lol jack and mc final fight we talk about is for book 1 only lol as in the final jack and mc fight of this book(book 1) , think of jack as Vegeta he is 10/10 talent so yeah he will be there and will be an archon he is also a ro for FMC and will mellow out later (late book 2 and by book 4 it is on you if he is an ally or enemy)as for being stuck with Jack it's more like he is stuck with you for the rest of his life.Same for all top 100 participants and they all will be in book 2 and be major part of it.Book 1 is just the start of your Rivalry with him.
Tiger and goro are also the rivals who will be there for the whole series the top 5 are future top tiers of the world so yeah we will get to have them as allies or keep antagonising them tho you all will be part of archonate so can't wild out too much.

Didn't Sakura get the entirety of her AP through cycling? She's doing fine. I thought cycling was only bad when young or something.
I don't think it matters much at her relatively low level but becomes important later on.

That's what mao says indeed that said it makes sense for her she has too much of it but also can buy the most expensive elixirs so it was mao hating really lol but it's also a discipline thing most warriors would become lazy and later the cost increases too much and then you are useless bum also getting into archonate fixes almost anything except breaking ml lol.
That said it's actually a stability issue according to anon too much cycling or even consumption of advancement elxiirs without proper training and enough time gaps can even cause death lol.

Yeah usually I go independent route and get kicked out by Mao but decided on my latest playthrough to stick with the Thunderfallers and he's surprisingly reasonable when you do
Personally i just fail the deception check early on and do every independant thing possible, and even then mao cant kick me out due to the oath, i get to hate on thunderfall AND not get kicked out, while also increasing my clan's prestige
Speaking of slaves- I mean children, our roc won't become a future problem will it? In theory it'll become a yokai once it gets strong enough, which comes with sentience I imagine. No hard feelings about being taken from mommy roc?
Well it is only for starting later on the route pretty much becomes the non independent path and will have no difference later on.
You are the master/parent even if it becomes a yokai so it will be a non issue that said it won't tho it will likely go on a beast path only.

It probably sees you as it's mommy/daddy/parental figure, if it becomes sentient it might have some dilemmas but it'll probably stick with you
