Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

I read that someone used a Soul Treasure (specifically the Lightbringer's) to create a belt.

My question is: does this apply to all Soul Treasures? And are the items created with it worth it to compensate for the AP I won't receive?
No the other soul treasures like the quadrafang or whatever can only be used for AP as far as I've seen

So far the only soul treasure we can convert into a item is the lightbringer soul treasure. With that said I do think the conversion is worth it. While equipped you get 5 prestige, a boost to retainer strength and the aspect of the belt I like the most is that companion strength is boosted by +1, and especially as the trials progress it isn't always possible to bolster everyone's combat strength so having the belt equipped reduces the chances of any of your companions failing their combat prowess checks.

Decided to check out rabbit trial again and the score you get for killing the drake and then saving contestants in the soul domain does seem to count towards the rabbit trial itself so with it you can get 8/7 in the rabbit trial.(I thought it would be seperate)

Kinda wish that even after enhancing the ritual you could still fight the drake so Desdemona gets 8 points while we get the drake treasure.

You can get dual wielding outside of Akakiru?
Yes, as the friend said if you're Blacksmith you can get it in the chapter 9.
Surprisingly the earliest dual wielding in the game comes from Kurokonton, by doing the Guiren Mission and unlocking Spirit Cutter.
Also Asura Transformation(Midorikatai), although it's supposed to only activate when transformed & it still not implanted in the game yet.
So: 1) Kurokonton. 2) Akakiru. 3) Blacksmith
In order to get permanent dual wielding.

"Dan my sect is kinda homeless, I live with my clan I'm trying to help them out with the modded version"

"Dan I'm at the forum why you trying not to laugh bruh that's disrespectful as sh#t!"

Did you truly optimize everything though?

No cycling is needed to be done in chapter 2 tbh. Better to save up shards to buy stuff in chapter 3.

Imo it's best to get 2 Handseals through childhood. Then in chapter 3 train one day to increase by 1(this can't increase skills past 3)and use one skill book to reach 4. Now if you have all 4 direction seals you can get the Planetary technique to get +1 in handseals reaching 5.

Its also worth mentioning that the most optimal first action in chapter 3 is to hunt for soul treasure first as the AP gain from it will decrease each month. For this, counting the Handseals, I get 3 athletics and survival. I will let the amount of AP you gain from it be a surprise for those who don't know.

After that as many days as you want should be spend on earning funds(unless you also wanna train Jin/Kosuke/Rin). One thing to remember is every 2 months you get 1 chi back so be sure to make use of a hand seal to earn more shards. You have to keep atleast 4 months to keep the element option unlocked. Also remember to go to the library to get the buffer barrier and some AP(It's a max of 3 lore check, 1 can be gotten from earth element)

Of course you might have already done all this but I just wanted to put it out there just in case.

Btw you can get 70+ gold in chapter 4 from the old lady if you max out compassion.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did a majority of what's mentioned here already, it's really only the skills and AP numbers I got that were not VERY optimized to a tee (like the Soul Treasure Hunting part because I had particularly low Survival and Athletics, around 2 for both I think? As well as the Gold that the old lady gives you).

Although I didn't get the target of 1.3k AP by Chapter 3 and 1.6k by the second Taio fight, I think what I achieved was a more comfortable low end anyways, especially since my current and recently finished run is an Aoyusumu Merchant. In fact, I think this current run probably my highest by the end of Chapter 9 with 2.6k. Not optimized, but just enough for me to get a solid 10 for all cores for passing through checks. Probably because I really only focused the cycling part by around the late game (post Lightbringer to Nanhou).

So uh...what were the Archons fighting in the North that was able to deplete their numbers enough to necessitate the trials?

Something scary one assumes.
If you go to the cave in the dragon trials, it gets explained. It sounds insane, especially with all the BS politics mixed in.

Also, do y'all have your parents develop an aura or not? It's a must for me, especially after what the dude says at the...I think it's the snake trial.

Always funny when one of the MC's tails accidentally comes out and everyone is just like:View attachment 36484
Now I'm curious as to how Fang would think knowing that she slept with a Kitsune as a Wolf Yokai.

Heck, I still stand by my suggestion, more characters should have moments where you control them while John Auraclash is either out of commission or preoccupied. I'd love to read what each character's journal entries are of other characters and John Auraclash himself, the Kosuke and Jin ones were very entertaining to say the least.

I do, especially since the magistrate made them his guards for the journey to Nanhou. If being warrior caste is enough for the magistrate to throw them into dangerous situations I would rather they can increase their life expectancy with a few cores.

Kosuke has one? i only saw the Jin one

Yes, are you kidding me? Of course I'm making my parents live for hundreds of years given the chance lol. They have no say in the matter.

I agree on both points, especially since Anon is clearly dropping hints that they're gonna be in danger soon.

Also, is every woman in this game not related to you a fling or potential LI option, because I just found out you can flirt with Keiko or whatever her name is. Anyway, if that's the case, I want a Black Flower interaction.
