That choice is odd the whole way. 1500 shard option leads to losing 750 and 750 shards option leads to losing 1500 too.

Tiger always calls you a false vessel. Though maybe if we take Brass Tiger down we can take his place? Who knows how that'll work...

Im really curious about the mortal foundation does it also have extra content like the jade foundation? I wanna do a run for it if it does or is it just a higher difficulty?

It's not a foundation, it's a lottery of whether you were born with an artificial AP limit or not. And you can remove it later.

Was the last dream nerfed? I used it once against the lightbringer in chapter 6, but then couldn't against jack in chapter 8

I think the last dream works the way it's intended to in that case. I think when you use the seal on your palm to trigger the explosion against the lightbringer it gets completely used up so the seal no longer remains on your palm,hence there not being a way to use it again in the fight against Jack.I also just beat the lightbringer properly so I can use the last dream against him in chapter 8 and gain an additional soul core,and even with this there's an event in the stallion trial that may require using the last dream but the choice was greyed out for me because I already used it against Jack so I think anon balanced it out to work as intended.

Was looking at the settings to see what new stuff there is for the itch.io version and came across this particular bit.

I'm honestly confused about it because activating it doesn't seem to have changed anything with the romance scenes with anyone? Or like, is this just something that is there for future events that has not been written yet? Does it actually change anything?

Worth mentioning this event happens even if you didn't have Jin go to the garden. And why is it even mentioned twice?
And retainer morale also goes past 100, though that might be intended i guess.

I believe that option is MEANT to automatically toggle the smut setting in the journal page, but it doesn't seem to do that yet.

Meanwhile, the smut option in the journal page currently allows you to see a new portrait for Desdemona when you meet her in Harehama.

Additionally, it expands the SUCCESSFUL Tian Fang seduction scene on the ships on the way to the Dragon Trail (the problem with that, of course, being that you can't succeed that seduction since Tian Fangs quest hasn't been implemented yet).

Sigh... It's a shame, however, I'll be practically forced to choose Zhao's training over Eldra's to get this +500 Inner Hellscape, otherwise my *** is cooked with these 497 demonic AP
(Not that I was going to choose Eldra's training anyway, I refused once, it's not now that I'll accept the power of the Lazy dragons Foundation).

I'm curious as to what everyone's preferred foundation and skill combination is. I was torn between Flayed God and Jade Lotus but ended up going with the latter in the end. Also did anyone check what AP Jin is currently at during that segment where you switch to perspective.Mine had exactly 1176 AP which was surprising. The fact that Jin od'd on elixirs was hilarious.

My Jin was cracked. I thought these losers had like 600 AP (Which is why I was relieved with their trial performance, and surprised they handled Daichi, but damn! I've been tormenting- I mean training them good!)

I find it funny that Rin is going all in on Power cores and Jin seems to be going for agility. Worried about their lacking fortitude though.

This is the start of the scene, before he starts kicking *** as the vigilante this world needs. He'll get even stronger and demolish all competition with Rin!

In my defense I don't perform demonic runs for the gains(Which are pretty low to be fair, ~400 AP and 3 skill points) but rather RP.
I'm mostly fascinated in the power-seeking demonic scholar/scientist archetype, so my true objective is to be even more hardworking than a normal Thunderfaller.

Also did anyone check what AP Jin is currently at during that segment where you switch to perspective.Mine had exactly 1176 AP which was surprising. The fact that Jin od'd on elixirs was hilarious.

Pretty sure the twins AP range mustn't be way above 500, narratively. For example, in the Desdemona's mission Thunderfaller says that Rin might take Li Moon Mother in a fight, and Li Moon Mother has ~300 AP by our estimative.
But yes, gameplay-wise Jin has ~1,100 AP with me too, his loss I didn't feed him with the elixir, however. Rin is a girl so in my mind her protection comes first.

if you take the second guy as a mentor Wukong comes to fight him but it's a small cameo, also a few clone scenes but they can also be gotten from the cursed style so I don't think it's monkey specific

It is a bit strange. Jin says he's stronger than warriors so he should be strong, but he's also hanging out with no style at 1100AP.

Also I'm now really curious to see how the real Taio, "Blood-lord", will be moving at the end at the book. If Thunderfaller with his lacking understanding of blood/corrupt Chi as whole and ~3k AP(My estimative considering we're 2,5k at ch-8) already can paralyze and implode 1k+ MAs, what the hell someone who dedicated, I assume, centuries to this and has 8k+ AP is able to?
No wonder why the other Akuma lords glazed him that much.

The swords that you can steal with Leona, do you guys let her keep them, and is there any extra content if you steal one or both of them from her? I like the Muramasa in the swordsman path, and on the other styles, I don't really care for weapons. So I just wanna know if there is any point in keeping them.

I just give them away. I never intended to keep them anyway, only do the heist to power up Leona. Getting to beat the **** out of Goro's sister and **** him off for launching me into the city is also nice.

If you let her keep them, she can actually upgrade them and give one to you in the dragon trial (assuming you meet her there)
