Changing the subject a bit, and since you're here... I'd like to know if "pseudo-JDF's"(Jade-Lotus/Eldra master route as non-JDF) Will suffer the same drawback as true JDF's if they are following the corrupt path too. Due to the presence of Jade Chi, its connection to the heavens and the whole concept of "Harmony"...etc etc.
(My heart would brims with joy, if these mfers want to play demonic then shall they play demonic correctly - me include).

Yeah seeing her use Reaper was weird. All our other friends are just a bunch of weaklings and even Leona isn't that strong. I didn't expect her to pull off a transformation without outside help.

You'd think someone taught it to her, but who? Maybe Jack was yapping for no reason saying it takes years.

You won't get the whole kit of Eldra anyways as jade Lotus but yeah you should be Able to play demonic as normal as you would fly under the radar that said your hell cap will not grow as much so it means you can't be evil too often for demonic it is best to go with Zhao Yang as he doubles your inner hell cap.
And the jade chi for jade Lotus lacks any draconic essence according to anon so it isn't the same.Still powerful tho.
Still there might be other consequences down the line that said if your ap goes above the hell cap you are getting culled lol.Anon will be writing those death scenes for next update so even 1 ap above the cap and you are getting executed.

Fang isn't a weakling atleast she is 19 same age as mc and Ml but without holding back she is at 1800ish ap which is pretty great for age and still having ml
Leona is 22 and like 2200 ap and she has broken her Ml
Others indeed are on the weaker side with no real fault of their own that's why with help from mc they really get elevated.

The whole concept of Harmony requires duality though, you need both Yin and Yang aligned chi. Who's to say you couldn't expand it further with heavenly (Sacred or Jade Dragon) and demonic chi?

We're in the trenches Diamondhead, the world won't wait for her to grow! 1800Ap is so out of fashion, we've been past it for like 3 chapters. 😏

Also yikes, Fang is dealing with ML? Somehow i keep forgetting that's a thing.

Leona has just as much AP as I was expecting funnily enough lol. That is to say, barely strong enough to stay in a fight.

I remember it was planned for us to see aura pressures from the journal. Was that scrapped or pushed to later for when the story settles?

Probably in cut content there is so much to add lol anon would chip away at them slowly as story progresses
 
Has anyone managed to activate the grayed out option? I've meditated on the White Tiger at every possible opportunity and it still won't work.

Because the first thing Taio explains about Corrupt Chi in Nanhou is that it's unbalanced and "separated" from the Heavens Will/Heavenly Dao.(I don't know if you asked as a joking tho, I'm pretty bad catching these things)
And the Eldra training at all is based on the concept of perfect harmony of the body such as balance within the Chi correlated to the heavenly will, such as the Jade Chi(Directly connected with the heavens). You can't have a harmony between a balanced and a unbalanced thing specially when this harmony is supposed to be under the yoke of the Heavenly Dao whose exactly does not arbitrate the corrupt Chi.
 
Kinda funny that MC now something like a rainbow. I mean we can use up to 7 different chi (style chi, 3 element chi, demonic chi, kitsune chi and white tiger chi

Edit: looks like I forgot how to count, we can get up to 8 chi types with jade chi

That's why I said 'expand'. Eldra's understanding of Harmony is one that is without ever touching demonic chi. Why should we constraint ourselves to her limit? My Dao seeks understanding of all things under the heavens, not merely things permitted by it.

You are btw absolutely correct it doesn't work with demonic chi at all.
