Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

First thing Goro does when you agree is pull out a soulbinding oath so might be difficult to play around it.

Speaking of, didn't Keiko mention soulbinding oaths might not work on people with broken cores?

...what is the point of using one on Sakura then?
I don't think we got to doing the oath because Eldra pulled up right after, no?

What elements do y'all think work best with the styles in the game? I am aware that all elements have their specific uses at certain points, but from a lore standpoint, what would be the optimal build a character in the universe can obtain for each style? Also, if having two Yin elements is truly an issue for male characters, then Lost Jester is a problem since he somehow made the top five with two.

Lost Jester is an user of Light and Darkness, one Yang (Light) and one Yin (Darkness). Yang is Light, Storm, Fire and Wind, while Yin is Ice, Darkness and Earth. Water is the wild card that can work as any of the two.

In lore from what I understand Kiihakai being a Yang force style should follow those and Kurokonton being a Yin one the opposites. The rest I would say those elements that follow the main focus, Akakiru being an offensive style should be paired with those with a powerful offense (Fire, Storm and Wind), Midorikatai being a fortitude style mainly should be paired with those that strengthen the body (Earth and Ice) and Aoyusumu feels like fits with Water and the whole balance thing.

You're in the chapter 2 yet, I assume.
It's because you didn't brought the Hungry Spirit Seal, whose you can in the sage market of Thunderfall in the chapter 3. With Hand-seals 7 you can reduce the Cycling cost by 80% for example. So cycling it's really worth in the early game if you manage it correctly(invest in your soul cores and Hand-seals, both increase the effectiveness/AP gain of the cycling).
I'm genuinely interested if you can lay out a rough guide on how to grab that 7 Handseals early. I'd imagine you're gonna be ignoring a good number of skill manuals and choices in the Chapter 3 hub section and so on.

Best I can imagine is going to 6 Handseals immediately and boosting it with Handseals, which I can see to be doable, but I do wanna know how you'd pull it off.

Edit: The soul cores too, I'd imagine dumping Agi would need to be done.

You see when she gets fixed the soul binding oath will start working if she doesn't get fixed then it doesn't matters anyways so yeah the deal is to get her fixed and when that happens the soul oath will work on it's own as the soul oaths works when other party soul is not broken and the entire deal is to get that fixed for her so when that happens it will get logged in.
