You can be mid asf still win enough and then jack will also be weaker but weak mc equate to weaker jack afterall It really is all about that rivalry pushing them past limits.
My understanding was that you have to choose one of the options other than fighting Goros brother, because you can meet the magistrate or bump into Goros stash but you can't do both.
It's a fun run idea ragebaiting Jack to critical limits and watch him demolish everything (including you)
Though the Judges don't seem to be taking their work fully seriously at all. At least the Wild Judges whose granted us a extra Imperial point for making Misuka appear naked, smh... We can protect a settlement of vulnerable fellow MAs, neutralise a Wight, save fellow MAs from a naturally(trust) collapsed cave or single-handed delay/prevent three invaders from killing contenders but what grants us a Imperial Point is making a damned filthy fox high-class courtesan appear naked...

Also jack has killed plenty of threats on his road and fighting other sect masters isn't illegal warriors are allowed to challenge others so jack is overall within his limits now if he was killing mortals and what not he would be cooked.
Also he isn't killing anywhere near we think if the other party gives up before or already has the stipulation of not fighting to death then there aren't going to be one it's just that most of those old mfers had their ego hurt by a brat(jack) and they are trying to kill jack aswell for challenging them lol.

Which doesn't make any sense because, well, at least on the Aoyusumu, the saints are watching since one answers your "prayer" when you stop Taio from blowing up the docks. I would assume they would still be paying attention to other runs, since if we lose, Taio becomes 'real' and that's a whole other issue.
They wouldn't necessarily be watching. Remember that MC and Angelo prayed to the Saints after getting captured.
They aren't necessarily omniscient. You need to pray to get their attention so that they know you need help.
The thing is Taio is still pretty weak overall you murking the Magikarp is way bigger deal and also an open thing also some saint hearing your prayer or it could even be an Ascended doesn't mean it would get you a point really not all saints are affiliated anyways or care to.

It's what you said lol it is still seen as a sect work and also the place is too far away from the hubs but yeah the Sunbringer Rivalry and what not affects it majorly also no one is believing bo lo lol it takes one scan to check whether he is telling the truth kek.
The distance is two voyages on the ship from ebikowa so yeah it quite far away and with everyone busy with the trials and setting up most focus is on Nanhou and places closer to it Harehama was about 4 day travel with ships from Nanhou and it had so much attention due to a lot of trial goers testing there and then being in gazuharaa's cult lol.
So multiple things working against us.

And you know the funny thing is an MC who has signed a soul oath with Bo Lo won't even be able to contest his stories. Even worse you would be obligated to be Bo Los hype man to ensure he receives both enough favourability and Imperial points with the Archonate.
The game would give you a lore check if the Bo oath would actually warrant things like this right? Cause that is devious
