For every point of insight, you get 3 more points of white tiger when you meditate on it.
Persuasion if you're merchant. Athletics too as the friend said, each point in athletics increases the AP gained with weighted clothes by 2.
Lore is interesting to have at 4 too in Nanhou if you want your weapons fully upgraded.
At the start you should focus on Hand-seals, Alchemy and Athletic/Persuasion depending of your build(A cycling focused or not).
This variable is different from the White Tiger AP one?

I think chi storing only increase your max chi, not increase AP. Do you mean Soulstealing?
Did you happen to help the granny at the graveyard or free jahi by any chance because that can also increase corruption. If you didn't do any of those then probably it is
The only thing i can think of is that you helped the old lady ghost or you got hit by the Grim's attack on the way to learn an element.
Not sure if it does before but helping Jahi doesn't increase corruption
Ah then probably helping the old lady at the graveyard is what caused it. Didn't know you could be corrupted by the grim though but that's because I never had it hit me in any playthrough
Helping the lady ghost in the childhood. Getting hit by the grim and more importantly, absorbing the Grim bonemask.
All this also increases the corruption. The Grim bonemask is 7 + alchemy • 3.
Not really, Chi storing apparently has a special interaction with Jade(Material) weapons giving AP. So I'm interested on how much AP exactly because the save system doesn't work for me and perform a whole run just for it...
