To get in shape?? Why do YOU need it?Why do spirits need exercise anyway? That's so dumb.
They don't want to end up like Big Chu?Why do spirits need exercise anyway? That's so dumb.
You see spirits are spiritual beings. They lack a physical presence to properly manifest in our physical world. Usually they possess a body to maintain a physical form but when that is not possible they would simply dissipate with time. By doing exercises ,which is something only beings with physical body can do, they are able to symbolise their physicality and fool the world for a while and get the ability to maintain a semi-corporeal form and interact with our world. Why do spirits need exercise anyway? I know Desdemona already explained a bit, but if you don't mind, I'd like to ask more about the difference between Aoyusumu's precognition and Kiihakai's.Blades exalt when he is left with no more samurais and warriors after 2 seconds of his announcement the other exalts are gonna kill him for it since the bladed lands act as a loyal force for entire imperial power and helping them.
It works. Walking dragon boosts a specific core by one depending on your chosen ancestry.Hey, is it just me or is the Reptike Yokai's Walking Dragon Technique not working? Its my first time playing as a Reptile Yokai, and after Big Chu's training, you get a technique that gives you one free core for Reptile Yokai, but none of my Cores increased
It didn't in my run, maybe it bugged. I chose Celestial Dragon, which should increase my Soul Cores, and since I had 2 from training, it should be three, but it didn't increase at all.It works. Walking dragon boosts a specific core by one depending on your chosen ancestry.
Celestial dragon gives +1 soul core.
Sea serpent +1 agility core.
+1 power and +1 fortitude from picking the drake and wyrm ancestry options respectively.
Just pay attention to what value the core that was raised was before getting the technique. If you had for example 3 soul cores, then getting the celestial dragon ancestry would net you an additional 1 soul core and so on.
Getting junkships, Jin a Job,clan robes and desmodena quest can all give points ro retainer strength. Theres more i forget but i never really struggle getting it to 40.I've tried to make the Godthreaded Belt from the Lightbringer's Soul Treasure multiple times since it seems to be the only equipment that increases Retainer Strength, but every time, it just doesn't go into my inventory because of a bug. Looking back on this thread, it seems to have been a well-known bug that got patched out by Anon in the past, but has returned? Though when I tried making the Godslayer Jian instead, no such bug occured. This is really inconvenient since I was hoping to dual wield Muramasa and Shishido for double Cursecasting and rely on the belt for my Retainer Strength since in my non Aoyu runs, I always manage to get it to 38-39, just missing one point.
There's apparently a special attack for Reptile Yokai in the Jack fight for those who chose Celestial Dragon? How do you get that? Or am I tweaking rn
There is. It's called walking dragon. You get to use it to disrupt Jack's snake eater technique if you aren't able to dodge Jack's ambush attack by failing a survival check. It's the only race based attack in that fight. There's apparently a special attack for Reptile Yokai in the Jack fight for those who chose Celestial Dragon? How do you get that? Or am I tweaking rn
