Just skimmed Anon's announcement and he seems to want it to be more than just about Aura Clash and the discord already seems to have an unsalvageable reputation so he might as well start over on a website he actually owns

As for why the forum is getting made and moderated, its so other authors have a place to build their own community. Since its an actual extension of the company now I want it properly moderated so it doesnt reflect poorly on new authors. As for why the discord doesnt get the same treatment, its not worth the time or energy. The place is already a cesspit, its only for AC, 90% of the slander is exaggerared (by me), and anyone denouncing us won't change their minds no matter how much writing time I waste on doing the moderation they want, so there's no incentive. I put on automod when I found out it existed and thats about it.
Someone had to do it. I'm glad for a new spawning ground of ifs that isn't as insular and clique based as CoG Forums are.
