It does tho it is how things work your assumption is already wrong because you thought the lunar dragons were advanced they have only recently started to learn things and are still primitive even the best among them and we don't even know if our ancestor was a true dragon version of lunar dragon.
So this is more about you assuming they were something which they are not and I guess it Isn't your fault because In game there isn't much about them but yeah they are far more beastly and are only now learning more speech is still not one of the main things for them even now they copied the shard domes tho and are making some of their own.

Also yokai kids have almost no connection with their dragon parents unlike other races lizard yokai are too much of an outcast the kid of the ancestor would have been saddled with the human parent.So there were no secrets to teach or anything and nor would the dragon ancestor be Able to talk properly.
The human or other humanoid race ancestor basically f*cked a Dragon who couldn't even speak properly lol or at all and only has the ability to turn humanoid form for s*x.
Freaky human ancestor.

TLDR: Dragon too dumb or primitive to speak let alone learn the language properly they are not pets but they were the beastly companions of some lunargoths.

The idea that dragons are too dumb and primitive just sounds so dumb, as beasts and spirits get stronger they get smarter, any beast ancestor of yokai has reached a level where they are above average human level intelligence and capable of transforming into and mingling with humans. You could just say that lunargoth blood is required to use ruins and thus descendants of lunar dragons don't have that instead of the dragon hatred (did a dragon steal your girl?).

Step 1 - Go to where Aura Clash is hosted. Anon being Anon, you can find it in a number of places, but for this purpose, I'm using the official website.

Step 2 - Once you reach the part where you want to save, click the option that says "Export"(Red Circle). Choosing the option for "On Disk Save"(Black Circle) is currently bugged and is not recommended.

Step 3 - Once you have your .savebundle file, you need to go to an online save editor like SaveEditOnline.

Step 4 - Upload your file, then use the search function to find the right variable. I recommend editing the JSON files as raw.

Step 4.5 - Here's an example of what to look for if you want to edit how much chi you have.

Step 5 - Save your edited savebundle with the button that says "Download ***.savesbundle".

Step 6 - Upload your edited savebundle to your game with the option "Import"

And fun lore fact: Eldra and most of the JDF have been humanoid for longer than they've ever been dragons. Eldra herself considers herself a humanoid, not a Dragon.

I'm just honest enough to know that the usual cultivation **** I loved back in the day isn't any better at all.

And yeah, I agree with you. But I think that dude was just joking around... at least I think so.

Different dragons that's all celestial dragons are extremely smart and run the world also you are Wrong on your lore the ancestor of yokai is a tailed beast which has become a humanoid that is what a tailed beast is but reptile yokais are exception the Dragon ancestors aren't becoming tailed beasts the dragon is still on their dragon path rather than joining the human/yokai path and their kids with humans are yokais while if they slept with another Dragon the kid would be a drake or the original race of the ancestor. ,while other yokais their ancestor chose the humanoid path that is becoming yokai and so the kids are Yokai.Dragons are special case they don't become Tailed beast and can still have yokai kids so it is way different the dragon path indeed gives intelligence still there are difference between types of dragons afterall. The humans in the wall of AC are primitive as hell too but anyways lunar dragons are just more beastly they aren't actually stupid or dumb calling them dumb is Just fun.It is just their beastly nature is way more prominent.

So all in all it's just lunar dragons being beastly while celestial being as smart as people if not more and pretty much having no beastly nature.While the for yokais other than the reptile yokai the ancestor has become a tailed beast which is basically pretty much a Yokai but they can change back to beast form on demand unlike yokais who would need to do certain things to make it possible.
So reptile yokais are a different case.Also can't blame the lunar dragons too much anyways they were with lunargoths and the goths that came to rasen were quite behind Cultivation wise and in general progress so atleast the lunargoths that came to Rasen themselves weren't that ahead so the dragons didn't have enough to learn or see while in Rasen and around it even the sea serpents(True Dragon)always had it good because how advanced rasen and areas around it and before rasen it was Cathay.Now the lunar dragons are progressing fast I am sure in 2k-3k years they would be way more advanced aswell they are already making the shard domes.

Cultivation(China), Isekai(Japan) and Regression? dungeon?(Korea) Trinity of the slop kek

With that said these genres Became overused for a reason when a good story is made in these genres it can be great.

Ac is a good example of it. Tho tbh I say it is largely because of basically being Shonen style cultivation story.
