now let me answre this for you, and finish the business. but keep one thing in your brain always, that you can never say that there is no father before our birth or it is mythology or legends epics stories or whatever.
it is an fact that there is father before our birth, now how do we understand who is our real father ? it is simple it is our mother who has seen our father before our birth and knows it that who has tilled her. so we have to go to mother ( in analogy bona fide recognized agents of Lord Krishna such as Narada, Devala, Asistha, Vyasdeva, Srila Prabhupada etc ) and ask her that who is my father. it is she who has seen our father before our birth.
otherwise you go on research for your father, and you will never find him at your own. this is the process. and your all queries are same and Krishna is accepted by all big big authorities as Supreme Personality of Godhead. same reason mother says here is your father. finished.
otherwise there is no other way. and anyone who does not listens to mother is an rascal idiot, immediately. he becomes useless at that very point. however great or big scholar or big scientist or philosopher one may be.
