Never being able to beat ruo cuz (s)he is the author's fav who will always be more powerful than MC till like wayyyyy later is such a shitty thing, I hope we can at least pull the same thing we pulled in opening and hurt him at leastI wanna finally beat the crap out of Ruo (again). Probably won't be getting that in this update though.

at first i had this mindset cus technically for someone whos the main character, they should be rising to the top fast but after some time i got what niki was putting down, instead of wasting time creatong new challenges over and over again, being unrealistic and making the book bland,he sticks only to ruo to make them a challenge mc has to reach so it actually feels like youre putting in effort and sets the tone for drama and in most cases, wanting to come back to the game more. For example, another game like this is Aura clash and it perfevtly represents what you want,op mc who technically will always win with no conditions if they are placed against anyone i.e theres no person saying "i didnt use my sword or dragon transfo" or "he was nerfed so you didnt even face half of his true power(Yutai)" and despite that making the game good even perfect for me,once poma compared to ac updates, the anticipation of not knowing what will happen always put it at the first of my read list despite being a busy person. Ac's updated now and i havent even touched it yet since the update came around Christmas which was mostly due to being busy but also a very very tiny part of me knowing that there isnt anything surprising to look forward for,but when poma drops? sure as hell im reading it in 2days at worst cus the challenges always seem new. Hope you understood what i saidNever being able to beat ruo cuz (s)he is the author's fav who will always be more powerful than MC till like wayyyyy later is such a shitty thing, I hope we can at least pull the same thing we pulled in opening and hurt him at least
For me, it's quite the opposite, really. In Poma, almost all the updates are just fights, to the point where I'm bored. It's literally nothing but battles, and it doesn't feel like the MC is progressing in the narrative. Sure, we see that they're getting stronger and all because we level up the stats, but in the story, we never actually see the MC training or anything. All the missions are just fighting as well. I think this is one of the reasons why many believe the MC isn't at PH level of power, and some even think they're still at LH because, narratively, it doesn't feel like the MC is making any progress. All the power-ups have always been handed to them in one way or another, never through training.at first i had this mindset cus technically for someone whos the main character, they should be rising to the top fast but after some time i got what niki was putting down, instead of wasting time creatong new challenges over and over again, being unrealistic and making the book bland,he sticks only to ruo to make them a challenge mc has to reach so it actually feels like youre putting in effort and sets the tone for drama and in most cases, wanting to come back to the game more.
