This upd will be huge. Hope that we can have some major moments on the story. Would i be very naive to expect to beat He Gang in this upd? Only God knows how much i want to

okay, here's the deal. This is not a beta test, this is pre-alfa. I haven't fixed all the previous bugs (did fix talisman abuser and some others though), didn't add tattoos/new pills. I also didn't test exhaustion, its effect on game balance (it may have ****ed every earlier fight) and whether or not the new fights are even possible to do on mortal. But I'm very tired and very hungry, so all of that will come tomorrow.

I did playthrough a few times and ran the tests, should be free of crashes. But even so, I recommend waiting for a day or two, or even better until the official release. This is very unstable, probably completely broken math-wise and has messed up branches.

That said, here's the update:
size 70k. But it is split into a lot of paths, so I'm not sure how much content you'll see in one playthrough. Has pre-tourney (Tigress, He Gang, Mei) and free-for-all (except for the ending) stage of the tourney.

Honestly only the mei mei's route that's worth going through virtuous and nonchalant routes are trash 😪

Edit= by mei mei's route I'm talking about absolute demon route

For me, it's quite the opposite, really. In Poma, almost all the updates are just fights, to the point where I'm bored. It's literally nothing but battles, and it doesn't feel like the MC is progressing in the narrative. Sure, we see that they're getting stronger and all because we level up the stats, but in the story, we never actually see the MC training or anything. All the missions are just fighting as well. I think this is one of the reasons why many believe the MC isn't at PH level of power, and some even think they're still at LH because, narratively, it doesn't feel like the MC is making any progress. All the power-ups have always been handed to them in one way or another, never through training.
At least that's how I feel about it.

ahh,i was personally referring to the general story update when they do come not strictly every single update. for me,when the update is directly intertwined with the story,i anticipate it more than other games
