For me, the clan or any of those things don’t even matter anymore. I don’t see the point in worrying about them when the ultimate goal is to leave this world anyway. Everything will be destroyed in the end regardless.

But that’s just my opinion. What do you guys think about these things? I’d say maybe it would make sense to save the clan if we were staying, but I even think the world of Poma will be destroyed anyway. So my MC is just like, “What’s the point?” Nothing is really worth putting in so much effort except getting stronger and getting out of there.

I mean that would be like saying what’s the point of playing the story, we won’t play MC actually leaving. Pretty sure epilogue is when MC will be kicked out so my MC is just living life normally.

Everything lost its meaning for me when TW told the MC his plan. I don’t know, the way I saw it, there was no reason to care anymore. In fact, the only thing that catches my attention is Mei’s route. I don’t know why I feel this way, but I guess it's partly because we haven’t really seen much of Poma’s world, so it’s hard for me to feel invested in anything there and everything got even worse when the other guy gave that prophecy that the world will probably end.

Ngl I lowkey preferred the story pre-expedition lol. Felt like we had stuff to look forward to like clan skills, nice fights and balanced gameplay then after the coma it got super hardcore but at the same time kinda generic?

I prefer the story now tbh, just I felt like the execution is not as good as it should be. Also there was no way MC would’ve been able to reasonably keep up with Ruo if it stayed the same path imo. It’s not even generic MC just feels off to me tbh, I remember the revelation of being TW reincarnated basically and people were hype I think the execution of it killed it. In my opinion.

Ruo mentioned to mc after the rogues fight that he does get jumped plenty of times. We just never get to see it except for one so he looks way more impressive

Him challenging multiple stronger people sounds impressive unless you realize that power wise they were actually all very weaker than him and every fight was just him smashing people until the final Jing fight

Because let’s say we never went to the expedition, Ruo would’ve still had the sword being OP and Transformation that has been there since the beginning. Realistically MC only had 3% on Ruo. Don’t forget MC wouldn’t be just the #1 unstoppable person I can say for certain that CF MC would. Why do I say this? 100% BP Mc wouldn’t be able to beat prime yichen, Ruo now is most likely reaching that. Nothing changed about Ruo there was hints from the beginning. Yes Niki wrote it, but we know Ruo was going to be broken no matter what. People think it’s bad now? You know who was the most hated person then? Long Chen before people knew in the long run he was weak. I still remembering people crying about the wolf Ai situation I imagine way more of that if we never went to the expedition. People call MC a fraud rn imagine if we never got Qi or the golden seed what they would feel. We would never know but yeah it doesn’t really matter now.
