alright so ai tries to get stronger, fails, body is dead soul is alive, mc can crash out or not, you can try to find a way to bring her back or just drink or train, xiwen and his rat cult offer to bring her back via butterfly ***** descending but you gotta join them.
mei havent explored this one much but you can choose to kill her cuz you a certified crash out
Wild he’s actually doing it, adding stakes somewhat. Feels like he’s just getting players ready for tigress eventual death. Ruo and Caihong the only ones I feel are 100% safe, maybe Xiwen too. Okay he 2 Ros with most content can die also isn’t that going to be a major coding problem? Feels like we’ll finally get focus on other ROs finally.

So Mei can die too. I went through that route but resisted the voice. I thought that if you chose the other option, Mei would do something to survive. Well, thanks for letting me know. I was going to pick that option to see what happens, but if she dies, I don’t feel like trying anymore.
Overall, I am pleased with this update, despite its focus on ROs. What I liked most was the end of the first phase, with no helpers, just the MC against a dozen PHs and it really is possible to win without the Devil, there's even the MC contemplating at the end, something along the lines of "So this is what it's like to be at the top?", finally, something worthy of a Xianxia protagonist.
As for the ROs, it was nice to see He Mei finally lost and fearful, I like her, but characters who act as if they're always in control annoy me a little, as for Ai, it was really good, I didn't expect anything that happened, the best thing was having the option to refuse Xiwen and save Ai on his own, it may be stupid, but I like the MC finally showing confidence and "competence", unwilling to be the plaything of others.

Agreed MC finally is learning I won’t trash talk MC for a while one thing I disliked, was MC not knowing what he did to the shadow person and saying “I won’t be able to replicate it”
I hope MC keeps this energy in the future. No complaints from me if this keeps up

Eh most of the players are going to be alienated if you aren’t on Mei or Ai path it’s over quick. It can’t be one of the best for me if it’s only tailored to a specific group. I do think this is the best version of the MC we have gotten, hope Niki keeps building on this slowly breaking the shackles.
To get Asura you need to have Bohai as your master
to get on Ai path do I need to be Chu's student
