Acc to poma veterans here, we had an intelligence stat very early on. I think before the expo. But apparently niki couldn't write the story around the fact of MC being smart. It would have been nice to have something like the low INT and high INT checks from New Vegas.
MC when a karma string formed with a random person they’ve never met, and being told they’re bound by karma. “Oh that’s nice, moving on.”
We had intelligence and prestige checks. Prestige replaced that ma rin's and jin guo's event, where the MA girl tries to stop you from entering
Is there a reason why he removed the prestige system? It was kinda cool and interesting
You just need to pay a visit to Wu Dong after you help him.
Then you will have a choice to go drink with him accept it...and you will meet Shu there

Speaking of prestige... This system is actually going to return on this rework. This and a reputation system associated with alignments. Apparently, even the madmen of discord can suggest good changes, the argument was "it doesn't make sense for people to judge your character by something that supposedly happened in secret", so now, you'll probably be able to have your dark side MC but with a saint's reputation.

Before prestige shows how well you're known,
For instance the scene where you first fought at the arena that they say "who's he" if you've got enough prestige someone glazes you( that's wu shen, he defeated ruo and ascended to ...) you get the point
People are really just assuming things....like the OS being MC's grandpa for example...but then again that one is just to obvious.
Most of the people just assumed that Shu is He Gang's fiance after she told the Wu heir that they have a opportunity to wrong someone who was a ******* to Wu heir...
And well who's the only character who was a piece of **** to the MC this early in the story?

Recognition and respect kinda different things. Imagine if with high prestige everyone will too afraid/respect to mess with MC. Imagine if event with He Gang lackeys attack MC friends will not happen because they too afraid/respect him
She's probably a rogue...so I'm going to assume that she's at minimum a strong PH
People also say that she's apparently LB's disciple...but I don't see it tbh...just a feeling
