I think this is throwing from one extreme to another. Mei is bad characters because she is typical bad GF, Ai is good character because she is typical good GF.

I can get hate Mei because of how much Niki love her and adore her with content, unlike any other character. I can get hate on Ruo as rival, which consist only of endless glaze, without point or reason. But I can't get hate because of their character, they were created like this.

Jokes on you, I think Ai is boring as well. As bad as Mei though? No. Ai at least got some sort of character development.

Ruo isn't hated as an RO though. As Nikki's favourite Gary/Mary Stu rival, yeah. But you can't hate their romance development because it doesn't exist.

Anyone else think what that dragonussy would be like considering the dragon really likes our qi enriched taste

One more thing i find really abrupt and not polished writing is how poma author handles 3v3 teammates convo especially he gang you have option to slap him etc etc now considering our mc past with him and how if your mc got completely outclassed by him when he gang set his trap for you this option should have been better written if it all it has to be an option cause after slapping he gang i was expecting full blown fight but writing was like oopsie now you don't get he gang support in the upcoming fight the end no retaliation by him etc at all feels like i am reading two different stories one is like all serious etc and other one is parody very jarring tbh also if not retaliation by he gang but do something with the narrative atleast make him respond in a way that feels like he gang not like after slapping him he gang screams a bit and your mc gets thrown out of his room and then your mc talks to themselves well he gang help option is closed now oopsie.

We can turn dead ones into Qi at the very least. Don't know if that's an inherent ability all cultivators have (since I certainly never see people turning other people into Qi in other cultivation stories I've read, unless they're from the demonic sect) or MC is just special that way.

From what I understand, it's something special about MC. It's directly related to TW's blood.

Plus i remember reading comments here that there better be a good reason for spear girl returning to sect cause it was implied by her that sect matters are puny as compared to her spear training lol

And the canon reason for her return as of now is cause her sister needed her to win tourney looool and they work better in team i leave that to your musings if that satisfy your criteria for good enough reason

Yeah tbh, that was an overlooked point. Then again I can see them allowing it “if you can’t win the tournament you don’t have the making of Spear Lord” or something like that. Niki better cook on the 1vs1s opponents too wonder how many fight we’ll have, we know Gang and Ruo for sure. Guessing first will be Ruo fight where Ruo wins and gets glazed crazily. Exciting times for the future, it was looking bleak I was uninterested tbh. Now my interest is piqued again.

To be fair, my naming skills have improved a lot. Until recently, my MC was still called Wu Omar, because Omar is literally the name I use in all games. And worse, whenever we had the option to name other characters, I would simply use M or W followed by numbers, like M1, M2, W1, W2... If it were back then, I would probably have named the technique as T1.

Eh it’s just the fandom/playerbase. The wholesome struggle doesn’t work for them. Like put Ai in another fandom and she’s probably a favorite she did grow in popularity tho. I still won’t romance her. They hate her ideals and because she’s relatively weak she’s supposed to just shut up and take it. Remember the COG forums long heated discussion people even bringing up real life examples. She does grow though and most likely got tricked by the rogues so it is what it is.

I think they want to see how their young talent is against other clans's since this tournament is turned into celestial tournaments.
Every clan and sect leaders would be present.
