Just my opinion — I believe the current state of the game is the result of Niky’s own decisions. If he focused on the game and MC instead of glazing Ruo so much and being greedy, he wouldn’t be facing the problems he has now. Poma is getting worse with each update, and I’m starting to feel like Niky might abandon it in the future. Even if he doesn’t, he’ll face even bigger problems in the sequel. We’re probably going to see a lot of unnecessary cultivator nonsense, and Niky won’t let us be overpowered. He’ll keep glazing Ruo, and a few idiots on Patreon will keep making the story worse.

Maybe the MC feels stupid because of Niky’s writing. If he wasn’t lazy and actually made the MC feel like a real main character instead of a clown, we would already be much stronger. There is so much potential with the Dao system, but all he decides to give us is a palm strike, teleportation, and some flashy elemental attacks.
Niky should read a bunch of cultivator manhwa to improve his game, or even play Dao Ascension and Aura Clash to get some ideas from those authors. Their games are much better than Poma, even though they came out later. Their MCs are much smarter and stronger than Poma’s MC.
