Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

No.

I see. So, I suppose that apart from Trash Talent, it's not worth it, or not even in this case. Any Hardcore Players here to confirm?

I haven't really done a full trash playthrough, but I wouldn't say it's worth it even then. You can get pretty strong stat wise in trash difficulty if you do things right, but even if you somehow can't beat Muchen, it's better to just lose and let the devil give you the wisp.

I am hoping that during the Chao event, we finally get some payoff from having a good father/son relationship with him.

Since it is actually a separate variable which is set when you have been nice to him and haven’t done anything like dating Mei when he visits the sect before the tourney, and also if you agree to start over with him. The good MCs really need some love man.

Also, dear god I hope that in the spar against Chao Niki lets loose a little. Because there is absolutely no chance that we are even hurting Chao, even with 130-150 in all stats, as this is the range between an Early-Strong Middle (maybe weak Late?) Xiantian.

It would be cool seeing Chao expect a strong PH and get hit with a Xiantian level attack and just go “Damn son.”

Also I assume he has watched the tourney so it would also be cool if he comments on our performance.

And of course in the evil path I’m really curious if we can use RAF against his combo Art. That would be the ultimate aurafarm moment.

Unfortunately, 120–150 is apparently the absolute bottom of the barrel for EX.

Of course, there's always the chance that Nicky lied or that this will be retconned, so: ┐( ̄__ ̄)┌

Right, I did remember the 120-130 floor for Xiantians, but is 150 really also bad for them?

I know that at this point it is useless to apply any kind of consistent logic to Niki's statements, but I assumed that 10 increments were still the stepping stones within the stages.

So without any Arts, buffs, artifacts etc. :

  • Mortal 1-10
  • Early Houtian 10-20
  • Middle Houtian 20-30
  • Late Houtian 30-40
  • Peak Houtian 40-50
  • Early Xiantian 120(30) - 150
And so on. I think it makes sense that even the strongest natural PH would be a lot weaker than a absolutely trash natural EX, because of the stage transition. But maybe for Xiantians and all following stages the differences between Early, Middle, Late, and Peak would be more pronounced.

So:

  • Early Xiantian 120(30) - 150
  • Middle Xiantian 150 - 180
  • Late Xiantian 180 - 210
  • Peak Xiantian - 210 - 240
God, I hate how Niki's numbers make no sense if you look at them all together. The Houtian progression is pretty clean, but then for whatever reason Xiantians start at 120 or 130 for some reason instead of a nice number like 100 or 150. Maybe it's something like the limits increase 2x when you go from Mortal to Houtian, 3x when you go from Houtian to Xiantian, and 4x when you go from Xiantian to Shangtian.

You have to be of good alignment and save the two npc's Yue Fang was guarding during the free for all tourney. Then you have to be chummy with him and become his roommate. After that you should believe Yue Fang and not open the mouthfold of the guy Yue Fang captured and binded. If you did all this then Yur Yan should appear in the latest update.
I did this, yet she didn't show up.
