The Wu are famous for there techniques. Not hand to hand combatSo far, Niki seems unable to write tactical fights between two strong characters. Its always 'i throw this, you defend and you throw that'. It would be nice to have a 'i throw this but im actually setting up a second throw when you attempt to throw back'. I like that in AC the MC actually feels tactical, using their brain i mean. Wu Heir is always "me dum dum throw rock...no damage? then i throw big rock"
Beat Ruo into advancement, and beat him again after that. Thats what i want. And most of all, ****ing throw hands. I thought Wu clan was famous for h2h? Why the **** MC barely use their close combat skills (it just seems non existent)? Write a segment where Ruo dominates in close to midrange with his sword, MC dominates like a boss in close range. Full on beatdown, counter his moves, judo throws, muay thai, krav maga, go Big boss on his ***. Let Wu Heir try to remember the basics of cqc. Show MC is more than their heritage. That they are the best at their level h2h. A strength thats solely their own.
Someone mentioned Yuze and honestly Devil Wei killing him would be genius, especially if you're team rogueCan't left without the grand finale:
"Do you have ball knowledge?"
•“No... sniff sniff... I want to breakthrough,”

And as you observe the Celestial Princess pass through her Second Rebirth you can't help but smile. Tang Ruo, your rival, whose existence the damnable heavens schemed to conceive, just like you. A scheme for a scheme. The thought infuriates you, a feeling inherited from your previous six million years fighting against it.
Nevertheless, you shake the sentiment off as Tang Ruo completes her rebirth. Adjusting your stance, you don't have time for contemplation anymore; time to pay for the humiliation of four years ago...
Strength&Agility&Constitution&Perception …(200&200&200&200/200)
And don't take long to understand that relying on your innate pride wasn't the most intelligence choice; You're losing, and losing badly.
Despite all your own prowess, all your training, your Dao Seed whose perfect all possible movements, you understand that brawling with the now Xiantian Ruo is a impossible task for your current self.
Against any other Early-Xiantian, you could've held your own. Perhaps, even against the weaker side of the Middle stage of Xiantian you could try your luck. But how naive of you, Wu Shen, to think Tang Ruo out of all would be bound by such limits.
Her speed seems to have increased by tenfold. Her strength now enough to ragdoll you through the whole town created specifically for this match.
Slashes rain over you, dozens of thousands of them in the time of a breath. And despite your own monstrous speed you're slashed, pierced, sliced. Your innate Regeneration at its exhausting limit.
You soon understand you cannot keep it physical, for your I-star body cannot match Ruo's Xiantian self. So you change to the approach where you can be at the upper hand: Dao.
Spell Power …(200/200)
-50 Qi
And your Dao Seed brims with joy. With a thought you're teleported, now Ten Li away from Ruo. But you don't relax, as you know it wouldn't take more than the snap of a finger for Ruo to close such distance.
With a quick enchantment you expand your spatial senses, covering the whole town. And as you notice Ruo approaching at an alarming speed, you concentrate your mind.
-50 Qi
Performing mudras you call for the sharpness of the wind, using your Space Dao to not let it travel, as it'd be stupid, but to invoke them over your target. Hundreds, Thousands of slashes... Tang Ruo still manages to avoid the majority of them, but, you note with your senses, she still is affected, although barely.
Understanding it won't be enough, you expand the target; millions of wind blades destroying all the surroundings. Blood drips from your nose, your conscience fading, yet you don't let it go. Reducing what was before a whole town to now has nothing more than dust.
Panting you observe transfixed as the damnable lizard continues her charge after your onslaught. Bloodied and battered, yet not less fearsome. You tap your toes in the ground, propelling yourself to the sky with the wind.
-100 Qi
Before Ruo can use her newfound powers from the Second Rebirth to fly, you raise your hand; calling for your loyal Dao Seed again. The surge of power is so intense it cannot be held, you bright as a second sun in the skies.
You smile maniacally as you summon your Heavenly-Palm, one peerless in power, one with half-a-Li in length. Casting its shadow over the wreckage. And as you order it to destroy Ruo, she does the same; performing her Ultimate Art, sword of Heavens.
As both spells collide, the sheer power realised could make a particularly weak Early-Xiantian faint, let alone all Houtians you faced before.
But you seem to have miscalculated, Wu Shen. Despite your monstrous power, despite your peerless prowess with the Dao; Tang Ruo uses her newly developed Aura to overcome the contest, slicing amidst your spell and then, yourself...
And as your severed body falls to the ground you curse yourself, summoning all your Regenerative power to recover, an useless effort. Understanding your situation you damn your own recklessness, for denying the Breakthrough and resulting in your defeat, for now it's too late.
As your body hits the ground and you lose your conscience, a voice, one familiar to you, raises from the depths of your mind in mocking tone...
