Sorry, folks, I’m one of Ruo’s biggest critics myself, but there’s absolutely no chance of Nicky writing a fight where the MC is completely superior to Ruo. Zero. Absolutely none. At best, we can expect a line like “your fists collide and it’s clear that yours is stronger” or something similar.

As for defeating EX Ruo, there’s no chance of that happening, even if Ruo didn’t have plot armour. We don’t even know what the upper limit of EX is, and it’s clear that when Ruo advances, he’ll be far superior to a normal EX, possibly even an MX. Firstly, Ruo will certainly advance with a Prismatic Star; and secondly, his dragon power will be boosted even further when he advances.

Taking the more pessimistic view, I even doubt we’ll see a fight where Ruo is using all his gear and items. I mean, how many damn full HP recovery items must Ruo have? And rings that, I don’t know, boost stats by 5 or even 10 each? A robe with 99 per cent DR? Of course, like in all Xianxia, there’s a limit to how many buffs and defences you can stack onto a low-cultivation body (otherwise Ruo wouldn’t have simply lost to LC, even though he was much weaker at the time), but until then, who knows what Ruo has at his disposal. For this reason, I fear that against Ruo, the ‘maximum’ we’ll face will be him using transformations, arts, his swords and perhaps a ‘revive’ or two (if it even comes to that).

Sure but unlike mc that reaches the max immediately (mechanic wise) all other characters have to train to progress something you can see in tale of immortals

It really wouldn't be fair, ruo was much weaker than when then and still should be weaker or on par, but we're significantly more powerful than pseudo lc

At the current estimate Ruo at xiantian would have 300+ stats and an aura to play around with so I dunno if our agenda of beating him without advancing is going to hold up

If Ruo uses up a revive against us he'll never live it down.

Speaking of revives... We still don't get anything from beating Tigress. Honestly I think we should get both qi and exp when we kill her ***. Killing the bird didn't give me Qi either so I feel scammed in general. I just want kills to consistently give resources
