Dao? Definitely, dao arts not only more universal, but also much stronger in proficient hands (Devil almost kill ex). Qi? Yes, dao not works without qi, make arts stronger than ie, makes pills more effective (at least Battle God pills). Raw Strength? Yup, MC limit already 15000, maxed Qi Refining limit probably even higher. And this without considering any other advantages what comes on different cultivation realms (like golden seed)
Well, MC lack of real cultivation teacher and time to develop. Tang Wei "guide" still can't replace real master (only one flashback with Blood King drastically buff MC and raise his limit). Also MC focus more on faster, than better cultivation. MC cultivate only 6 months, but (supposedly) already close to Qi Sea. I doubt that even qi rich world cultivators can do this much faster than MC. And MC doesn't look special only in comparison with guys like Yang Gan and Ruo. But Gan from one of the best clans possible, spends decades for training and have 2 transcendental arts with transformation that perfectly works together. And Ruo have every possible advantage in poma world except qi and golden seed.

He Gang is the elephant in the room no one wants to talk about. Like I get that Rou is special and yes you should be angry about how unfair it is. But if there's someone who should get that much hate for being gifted everything from the heavens it should be He Gang. This guy literally gained Qi while doing nothing at least Rou doesn't have Qi yet and if they do it's because they trained day and night for it (Confirmed by the story that Rou does train very hard). But He Gang just cheated and skipped all that **** to gained Qi.
Ruo doesn’t deserve **** either lol, bro idc how hard he trains he gets gifted everything. He gang definitely is a test dummy plus we all know he’s going to die Ruo will be there until the end
Rou is nothing but annoying He Gang on the other hand is actively doing everything to make your life miserable. And I feel like Nikki won't actually kill He Gang because of how much traction his character is getting. Nikki loves it when his readers are in pain so I doubt if he really will kill He Gang in the end.
Eh I feel like he showed He Gang with Qi just before the tournament MC will at least cripple him. Just my thoughts
Pretty sure He Gang is a plot device. He accumulated all that Qi so that we can kill him and absorb it so Niki can have an excuse to skip writing scenes where we go on and gather Qi enough to reach Qi Sea.
To me until He Gang is dead he is worse than Rou. Gaining Qi is one thing and now actively hurting your family and loved one is another. It's why I never understood the hate Rou gets when their are people like He Gang who gains qi easily while making your life miserable. Everything Rou hater says about Rou apply to He Gang and worse is his actively going after your loved one who can't defend themselves.
How does rebirth work as a cultivator? Do we advance just like that? Will the elders and others know whether we advanced or will they just sense we are way strong for a PH or something like that? Wouldnt they get suspicious if we don't get reborn for advancing to X?
Is there gonna be a mechanic where we must protect and strengthen our dantain and meridians? We've been said multiple times that if our dantain is damaged, we might as well be a cripple. So maybe we will get cultivator fights in the future which helps us absorb their meridians and enforce ours. Or maybe it's just a simple plot point in the future who knows.

Firstly, I didn't just focus on stats this time, I even mentioned a line from the most powerful and knowledgeable character known.
Second, it should be obvious, since even our dear BH has already recognized what the MC's flaw is, experience and technique. Characters with lower stats are capable of fighting and defeating characters with higher stats. I've said it myself before, if MC had fought better and thought more, he would have done much better in the tournament fights. And that's why we still have characters superior to MC, they fight better and have more experience, plus transformations and empowering Arts are still a danger, even TW makes this clear, Yang Gan literally uses two transformations at the same time, one of them boosts his power for every Devil Breakout he has and as a Yang he's probably experienced this and has been experiencing it since he was 13~14 years old.
I imagine that BH also has transformations or something like an Art that invokes third-party/ancestral power. I suppose He Mei's poison was stronger than we thought, He Mei herself thought that BH wouldn't even be able to get up and fight after the poison spray, of course she was wrong.
While I absolutely agree with you post, I think that Asura boost with every breakout is more a game mechanic, than lore thing (unless Nicky said otherwise)
BH did acknowledged that the MC lacked experience but while you thought he meant it purely as a flaw. BH himself instead realized it only meant we had something even more dangerous. Something that made him offer a draw. “True geniuses of the Houtian have too many ways of keeping themselves alive, and too many ways for you to die.”
BH isn't a counter but is instead an example of MC managing to fight evenly against someone who is stronger, faster, and has decades more experience. “That poison cost me about a third of my power, but I’m still faster, and I’m still stronger than you. You're keeping up with me solely by relying on your instincts an incredible feat, by the way.” Certainly, there isn’t a single being participating in the tourney who can claim to have more fighting experience than the Blood Hunter himself.
As for Gan, Complete Asura is far superior to whatever thing he got going on considering how desperately Bohai desires it and how much he values it. He even got mad enough to try and kill the MC about it despite knowing MC was under Butterfly protection and he himself likely allying himself with her. This would lead to

The difference in base stats aren't minor either if Gan stats are still cannon. 15k means we have 33.33% more than his strongest stat. 36.67% for his second strongest and it only gets worse and worse from there. Not to mention how shameful how much effort we had to put against a 17th ranked person like Mogui

All right, all right. Let's stop the discussion here, at this point it's already turning into a discussion of characters, which wasn't the original intention, it was a discussion between Qi Refining and Houtian. Let's just consider that we need to wait longer.
I just disagree with your argument about the fight against Liu Mogui, I thought it was so easy. He takes a lot of HP from the MC, thanks to the peculiarity of his Art, but unless your MC has Tiger Tatoo, it's not a problem.
My point wasn't that he isn't easy. He is but that it should be a different realm of easy if you are correct.
It's impossible not to bring it up if you consider things more than just pure stats like the story

Same, my biggest turning point from angry rivality into hate was his cowardly nature, he gang had everything: resources, advantage of being older and more experienced, backing of the he clan, backing of the rogues (turned into a cultivator and given powerfull arts that steal qi) and he still a pussy_.
Instead of getting even more ahead of us by reaching qi sea or trying to get even on a death match, he tries hurting our loved ones and connections on a psychologic war (that he himself loses If you go provoke him instead of attacking) at least ruo even with all his bullshit is still a equal/rival, he gang is Just a clown that will get his meridians burned and his dantian devoured as a supplement.
Probably a totally different advancement, my best shot is on a transformation/quality change of our own qi, tang wei or his teacher (idr right now) already said that qi is the key to evolution and by cultivating youre taking control of how you evolve instead of letting the heavens/nature do Its own thing.
The elders already cant sense our realm, just a vague overall of our strength, they would get suspicious but honestly they already know a lot of **** about us, the fact that we are one of tw clones, qi and dao are already know by them, may know even more if the sect is conspiring with the rogues.
