i think it just wouldn't make sense for a good individual to romance mei. she already fears for her future even when dealing with an equally evil mc there's no way she'd reveal herself to a good mc that and the fact that the relationship is basically built on you two doing evil **** together
I don’t see why a good person couldn’t be corrupted in Mei’s route—so I still don’t see how being a good MC who turns to the dark side in her route would be a problem and about “revealing” herself, in what sense? It would make even less sense if she revealed herself to an evil MC, since they’d probably just kill her faster and without mercy. But like I said, I at least want to see how they explain removing Mei’s route just for being good without even giving me the option to choose.
As far as I know, the MC already knows she’s a snake, and she still stays with him for now even if he is good. The only explanation I could even remotely believe is if that goddess we saw in the good route interferes, or someone else does, and their paths get separated that way.
I mean you wouldn’t even be a good MC anymore if you are going to stay on her route? There’s probably going to be a choice where you have to do something that a good MC wouldn’t and if you do it you probably wouldn’t be a good MC anymore. That’s like asking why a good MC shouldn’t do YB master route
Niki probably regrets making Mei route possible for both alignments. Its difficult to write routes for morally gray MC's since its difficult to predict the player's actions. My guess is that her route is going in an evil direction and would require the MC to do evil stuff. If a dedicated good MC were to go through with her route till that point, it will result in furthur branches depending on whether we decide to stay with Mei or **** her over. Take it like this, Mei simply decides that getting the cooperation of good MC is too much of a gamble and hence decides to cut her losses soon. She already seems unsure of evil MC's. Tbh if youre on Mei's route, no way you can claim to be a good MC. Maybe a ***** good MC will cooperate with her but any good MC with a spine wont stand for the **** she pulls. There's just too much conflict of interest. Besides, isn't there enough time to turn to an evil MC after starting her route? or is it too short?
You're misunderstanding something. What I'm saying is because someone mentioned that if you're good, you'll automatically be removed from the route—meaning they wouldn't even give us the option to turn bad. That's what my response was about. I already knew from the start that Mei's route wouldn't be possible to complete if you're good, but I didn't expect to be automatically removed from it because of that.
Ofc you can always transition from good to bad I simply said good mc would eventuality get locked out from mei romance same way evil mc is locked from ai after expo

Unless I misunderstood you, isn’t that basically what I said? I mean, I don’t see why you’d be locked out of her route the same way as with Ai. Ai is because she doesn’t like evil people, but Mei hasn’t even had issues with us unless we reject her plans. So if you’re saying her route gets locked just like Ai’s, you’re not really saying anything different from being automatically removed from it. I could understand if it’s because you reject one of her plans, but it’s different if it’s just because of my alignment.

What I wouldn't give for Yue Fang to be a RO in the second book... He'd be a nice option for fem!MC, if Nicky feels that Book 1 is too packed and limiting the number of ROs saves some of his sanity at least.
I also really liked Su De, fingers crossed that we meet them again in the future.

When you get to the page giving a vague summary of the root not the one with your mother specifying just open the stats menu and then go back youll be able to see all the roots by doing that
Just tried it, testing the roots is there a certain best? I tried a few and got the heavenly fire, Yin, which the mom said it’s not ordinary. Then the Primordial which she didn’t know what it was and then the Chaos which she took the MC to a store to find out about. Anything better than the chaos or primordial?
