I feel like the pitfall of POMA is only having Rou as the rival we could really tell that is powerful. Like so many of the actual enemies POMA MC defeated are actually powerful but it doesn't feel that way because we are only introduce by how powerful they are seconds before the fight. The biggest example is the Blood Demon that is on par with Long. It's such a waste of a powerful character. Defeating him doesn't feel euphoric at all and just feels like defeating a goon.

Yes, another clown. To be honest, Nicky overdoes it on 'arrogant characters', I mean, I know they're the norm in cultivation stories, but it's usually one character leaving and another entering, not an endless accumulation of arrogant clowns.

Yes, even more so now that the Thunderfaller in AC is entering a bigger stage, because now we can really compare him to the MC, in terms of 'he's up against the greatest geniuses of his generation'. And the contrast is great. Most of the characters who are strong or equal to Thunderfaller have a certain respect or wariness towards him, even if it's a mild interest, like Goro. As for the weak ones, they literally fear and avoid the Thunderfaller.
In the case of Wu Heir, everyone, weak, equal or strong (save for Yang Buddhist, he's cool), despises and underestimates the MC in some way. And the MC can't even do anything, just put up with everything since the rules work for him.
Edit: I'm referring to the attitude of enemies, adversaries and the like, of course. I know that both have people who admire and respect them, among the allies and neutrals.

The level of branching is impressive, i reloaded the same save multiple times just to explore everything It had to offer and there's still a lot of stuff and routes i missed, the last fight? absolute cinema (It lacks a win option instead of a draw but since It was done respectfully i have no problem with It)

For someone who's supposed to be the reincarnation of tang wei, the last hope of wu and the only rival of the celestial heir we surely get a lot of disrespect...thats one of the reassons i find wu heir bland, none of our deeds and strength are recognized, one of the biggest wasted opportunities was to make that arena rank count for something.
I would say i have hope of this attitude shifting after the tournament but It would be a lie, wu heir is the punching bag of the narrative.
