Your right about that. Nikki also should just dip the "free roam" aspect because it barely has any content written, and move meditation for cultivation in the stats screen instead.

Arena fights also should be part of the main plot instead of being optional since you have to climb to top ten anyway. From weakest to strongest it should be. To make it feel more suspenseful. There's no fun beating the top 20 when you already beat the top 1.

Advancement to Middle Houtian should also be a plot progress so that he could write scenes in a specific point of the story where other sect characters could actually noticed you did advance to Middle Houtian.

So many things Nikki is making it harder for himself for no reason. With minimal effect to make the story better. But the beauty of an WIP is it could change.

That sounds like a nightmare like how are we buying stuff and pills without free roam. He'd need to rework the entire game mechanics again

I'm fairly sure we're never gonna beat the top 10 in the arena. Its kind of filler content rn with rewards

So far its only noted in the Wu Dong sidestory. Personally I kinda feel like that visit is unbalanced cuz you have checks not even Heavenly difficulty maxed out MH stats can pass reasonably

Honestly I just want MC to be less of a fraud and to explore the world more.

The sect feels constraining af I wish we had long term missions where we spent more time out and see more of the world instead of tracking down people and resolving stuff in a single fight

If you mean making a separate thread just for AC, I honestly don't see the point. The author drops the chapter, and a couple of updates after, then disappears for 4–6 months. POMA thread works just fine.

Passing the Perception check reveals she's getting gold for it, and I can either:

• Help Wu Lisha by doing the lectures
• Or take half the gold instead

For now better get money. There no event with Lisha and I pretty sure Dong even not mention whenever we help her or not. But maybe in future it will change

It would be nice, more practical, more advantageous for us... and that's exactly why we don't see Nicky doing it.

Another thing I'd like would be an automatic gradual progression of stats. As the MC trains off stage, you know? I mean, I know we get EXP, but I think it would make sense if the EXP was for big, immediate gains, while the off-screen training would also increase the stats a bit as well, something like a 50-100 (or less) increase for each physical stat per week.

Yeah exactly, he already has a problem with gauging how powerful the MC could be at a certain point and just generally assumes they are weaker. Case and point - the constant underchecking of stats.

If he moves it into the stats screen where it could be done at any point in the game, his problem would be magnified further, as it'll be even harder to track stat progression.

Female MCs can get +2 favour from Ruo in the beginning if you ask him "Am I so beautiful you forgot your tongue?" That's like the only time I can recall that talent being needed.

And yeah, you need Captivating beauty to get the +2 from Ruo, if you don't have that talent, you get called ugly and get a -2 instead. It's not an opposite gender check.
