Sorry, the way I wrote it may have given you a good chance of getting it wrong. I was referring only to the artifacts that the MC absorbs to obtain Qi. The items and equipment continue, in fact, they will even receive buffs, considering the new system.
No need to feel sorry my bro Ima dumbass anyways lmao 😭

I'm feel like I'm going insane rn...I started liking the rework but then I hated and now...I liking it again? Lmao 😭
Yes. To be honest, this time I'm more annoyed because I don't have much to complain about at the moment.

I mean, I was in the middle of writing a message to my friend saying how stupid the stats going back to ten per stage was when he sent me the following:

Quote: "str 25 and str 50 doesn't mean that the latter is twice as strong. The stats now are more like 'levels', with each one, esp between stages, being much stronger than the previous one"

(ノ-_-)ノ~┻━┻

Now I really think Nicky lurks around here... He's starting to understand my mentality and thinking a few steps ahead.

I also asked about this, I didn't mention it because apparently Nicky didn't give a decisive answer. Apparently, as well as busines talent, several others will be removed, only the "important" ones will remain, those with a good chance of at least receiving flavor content, and classifications such as Legendary and Epic will cease to exist. According to my friend, the only talent that Nicky described as "really important" was Iron Will.
Alright place your predictions everyone on which talents will stay and which will go. I'll start with mine
blessings and innate talents will probably be removed, so will perfect human body as they are narratively incompatible with the current story as it exist now.
training fanatic, phoenix heart, martial sovereign, righteous paragon, demonic overlord and damage resistance will be reworked, removed or replaced depending on if niki can write them into the story. Haggler and beautiful will probably stay and here's hoping that precog makes a comeback

Ah... My beloved Precognition... In a way, I feel like this is Nicky's “favorite,” but he doesn't know how to include it in the story, since he doesn't use it in the game but also refuses to abandon it completely. I mean, precognition is definitely not the kind of talent that can be treated as mere mechanics, unless it's ridiculously nerfed.

In any case, my bet is on regeneration, beautiful, iron will, paragon/overlord, phoenix heart, haggler, meridians, and martial sovereing. I also bet on the addition of some other talent, something to compensate for the lack of EXP, I mean for Dao, since before it was Dao EXP + EXP of your choice, but now it's just Dao EXP.

RIP Captivating Beauty. Unless that's getting a much needed rework. Still believe that the perk that increased another stat based off your charisma stat was a fever dream I had to make the most it's not trash if it works build ever.

I asked my Discord-frequenting friend about the EXP situation and he revealed three interesting pieces of information:

1 - There will be no more EXP (only Dao still gets Dao EXP), it will all be based on Qi (Pills will still work), but no specific details yet, and we'll get more Qi overall;

2 - There will be no more business talents or the option to buy artifacts, but we will receive Qi every week to balance it out (no details on the source yet);

3 - DR will be nerfed, apparently the limit will be 50%, but the overall damage should decrease (author's statement "There was a big issue with DR before where I had to have 100k damage to damage it, while 15k damage annihilated non-DR builds").
Okay, it seems Niki is putting more emphasis on earning Qi and dao exp. With Tri Dao a thing now, Qi required for it in fights will probably be more and dao exp required to level it up will be also be more. He could have done this without changing qi to exp and back to qi but his choice. He probably feels Qi will interconnect narrative and gameplay elements better.

DR was best way to compensate insufficent stats. Niki is clearing trying to shift focus to buying pills and talismans considering he even cutdown the artifact buying.

He's cutting down on talents and its a good thing imo. Half of it is useless to this point and its better he focuses on a handful talents and add more perks to it if need be. I have a feeling he's removing redundant workload to make room for future narrative and gameplay elements like the Tri Dao... Maybe body refining? :)

Damage reduction. But honestly, I don't know how to do it. I think the most I've ever gotten was 50% with the tattoo.
Oh
I get that 100% two times if remember correctly .that's useless and annoying for me since i am story mode player from start.
Hope we can get overpowered mc changes in new fixes with maxed stats.

My friend sent me these screenshots. He says it's in the new beta. But he recommended I wait until the final version of the update comes out, because it's still a mess, full of bugs and errors.

Health upgrades and qi power upgrades are fixed to 5 unrefined qi. Cant say much about this without experimenting how it works over a long time, i imagine more changes coming in regards to how much health is increased by 5 UQ.

So we have limits to our dantain now? Does it increase with the health and qi power upgrade? I think the above examples mean we start with 10 limit for dantain right after coma. I guess this way our reliance on dao will be limited and stat checks will be more powerful which goes well with the reworked fight system. We even a 'Body Level" in the final scs, probably for the health upgrade.

Are attribute limits and attributes in general are also getting reworked? 50 for 5 qi looks quite costly. So Niki is going to be adding manuals for refinement then. With each manual we find the qi cost might lessen by 1. TW does tell us to find manuals, so 4 manuals then? maybe more for health upgrades and even for a more efficient qi refining, like with a manual 1 UQ gives 2 qi. Ig these could be nice side missions to do if thats what Niki wants. Its quite similar to the artifact hunting someone talked about a while back.

Im just going off of what comes to my mind from the scs. I may as well be wrong about most of what i said lol.
