So the changes in the battles are decent to good where they happen I quite like them. But there is no acknowledgement of them once it is done it's almost as if it didn't happen like the first round of tournament it bugs the hell out of me and it did before aswell mc can do so good and people don't care.Now mc can just destroy anyone there with ease and we still have people acting like we aren't even top 10 worthy .That tea party folks really need those changes also the "First" guy who is narratively being portrayed as something crazy good.The mc now with recalibrated fights did as impressive of a showing if not more .Again no one cares even Ruo's pov is still the same. I didn't even use a spell lol.Maxxed out body being called trash.It is better not to have Povs if they are always gonna be like this even before the changes the povs about MC's fights were lackluster.
Now maybe niki will also change these narrative lines and portray the mc how he should be but I don't count on it at all.Also when Ruo puts a blade on your neck when you are meditating again it's as embarassing as before he barely moves while you bleed when he attacks you.
So all in all fights are better but it barely matters as there is no acknowledgement to it and it only makes everything else make no sense now that Mc's feats are amazing yet narration keeps showing you like a bum.Everyone is watching these fights and again nobody cares when it is about the mc it's like whatever you do it is forgotten the moment it is over.I don't believe niki will even add these narrative changes and frankly if narrative didn't treat mc like a side character the old fights wouldn't even be that much of an issue.Narrative itself has always been the number 1 problem and that issue after this only looks worse.
Maybe there is a small chance he will actually work on the narration for the story depending on how mc did and what you do isn't forgotten the next page like usual.
Also can you get moon goddess blessing without being a fodder? Now that mc is strong he wins that fight so easily the we don't get the blessing imo that is just bad if the mc is a saint he should still get it why is he getting punished for being strong.

Acc to @Arlonb , Niki said the fights will be reflected narratively. Since its not in the current update, my guess is he's either writing it now or planning to include it in the next update. That's why im concerned about dissociation between fights and narrative.
If they aren't it makes the world look even dumber lol.They looked dumb even before when mc wasn't dominating this way but now it is another level. Frankly it needs too many changes everyone should stop treating you inferior to Ruo by the time tourney happens and at the very least after the first round you should be above the "First" dude.
Others should acknowledge it aswell hell make anyone worthwhile acknowledge it and also then keep that path because knowing how poma is I can already tell you what happens.Someone powerful or maybe even Ruo will acknowledge how powerful mc is and again from next moment it will be gone as it it didn't happen as it is just a throwaway line.Someone needs to tell niki.The narration screams wu heir as unimportant for most of the time unless it is with lady Butterfly but yeah as I said the most likely scenario is Mc getting a line About being strong and that line is just for this page and moment the next page it is back to bumming.
Narration is supposed to echo that everyone knows what you are now and that's how it should feel.I simply think it won't happen because mc will trivialise both Ruo and the "First"
But imo that is how it should be if you are that strong you should trivialise them the amount of satisfaction the players will get with that and also the people who min max and spent hours on this game they all feel happy.What is the point of all these recalibrations if in the end it is barely makes a difference.
Also Yue fang (the Cultivator kid) is his path tied for neutral mc? not in personality but as in not choosing rogues and tangs because he did say stuff like His clan wanting to also take this world.

Honestly, I don't think taking over POMA world is a necessity anymore for her. She just need to open the array and secure Tang Wei reincarnation. If she can take over the world then good for her, otherwise it's fine since she can just escape somewhere else with Tang Wei 2.0
