Did this happen? I honestly haven’t touched POMA in a long time—so long that I even forgot about this—but it sounds a bit contradictory to something I read. I remember someone saying that Niki said the dragons wouldn’t let Ruo die, so it doesn’t make sense that they would ask her to kill herself if they don’t plan to let her die anyway. Or am I just imagining things?

In that case, it would be optional content. I doubt Niki would go all out and make it a fight for something optional. At best it would be a brawl eventually stopped by some elder or Xiantain.

Honor matters until she's getting her *** beat. Then she has to pull out her Nepo baby artifacts to heal her wounded pride, or beg people to jump her opponent.
