Why cultivator chao now? Won't that basically reset him, and he'd need his own supply of qi stones too. I only hope becoming a shangtian won't mean he can't be a cultivator anymore.
It's not that much protection to be fair, just one immortal against the rest. I think we can make do without it. We'll definitely get more methods to save our *** in the future anyway.
I'll get a good laugh if my game ends with a "500 cultivators aged from 4 million to 7 trillion skin you inside out as soon as you leave the world and **** in your face. Death..." Message though ngl.
It's not one random Immortal tho it's an immortal emperor and that too one of the actual heads of Yue clan but yeah getting adopted is the best option overall still no need to sell short who the immortal is as far as single person protection goes barring gods this is the best.

I just thought the dude might not try that hard against other immortals, and those are who I'm most worried about currently.
It's not like choosing protection is a bad choice though. (What are the odds of us seducing Ms Yue during our zoom chats and getting protection anyway?)
Given how forthcoming Ms Yue is and as per her own words her father always keeps his words I am not worried that said best scenario would be Actual adoption and getting our family members adopted because of it but for whatever reason I Think we will not get any of the things because of "plot" reasons.

Will reset happen with every martial artist who is turned in cultivatior?
We know the MC had to because of TW modifying the MCs body with his blood etc. But I'm not sure about other practicioners, especially regarding the physical powers of 2 star and above. But at the very least ones cultivation power or ability to cast spells would reset, because one develops their cultivation power by storing qi inside their dantian and an IE practicioner has no dantian to speak of.
I'm genuinely curious to see how Ruo will catch up a "optimized" Wu Heir, that's, ""shameless"" power-seeking that agreed in making a deal with the Rogues, Bohai, Yue Clan and the He...etc. Like, if the Zenith Manual thing isn't pure bullshit, what Ruo is supposed to do against a Wu Heir with 150~200 base stats? This is a EX to MX already and with range to go further with the Dao-Forms/Asura. Also Tri-Dao, Dao perfection, RAF and potentially others power-ups along the way for the final.
Considering current LH Ruo is in 90 stat range and that a stage rebirth is a +10 amp, and that, with regard to Dao, Ruo's ability is childish compared to Wu Heir's, I'm truly curious to see how the princess will catch up.

It's not hard to see tbh she already is supposed to have 80-90 in stats as late houtian whe she jumps to peak i wouldn't be surprised with a 100-120 stats could even be more given just late houtian of her is so ahead and that is base then we have trh whole Lizard transformation and then another one in celestial form bullshit so 150+ stats for her seem apt lol with peak houtian and transformation version.
So really as bad as it sounds Ruo will never be really behind niki has said this do many times if it even feels like that niki has outright said he will retcon that so that Ruo doesn't look weak lol.

Yeah, that's what I do. Play both sides for max power.
Anyway, I expect both us and Ruo to reach the next realm of our power system before book 1 ends. If Ruo is still late houtian by the time we fight, I straight up expect 2 back to back advances.
He has something Wu Heir will never have.. The power of Niki loving him.
He Gang's manual increases the limit and provides a large exp bonus, so even though it's difficult, base stats at +150 will be within the realm of possibility. Truth be told, with boosts, it's already possible, and if I'm not mistaken, a friend even shared such an achievement here.

Ah right, I had forgotten about it. I only noticed the abnormally high charisma stat his manual has. We've been breaking our limit manually so far, I wonder if the body refining manuals will ignore or keep those bonus levels. I imagine not. So I could want to keep my qi for later use I guess.
I'm still waiting for the void grade manual I ordered from amazon. It should in theory be better than anything else we could find here (Besides anything Tang Wei left behind.)
Speaking of manuals, what is with the cultivation manuals and Nicky trying to scare us off from trying them. If he keeps saying I could permanently harm my cultivation and need one perfectly made for me, I'm just going to be a body refiner and ignore spells. I'm too scared to even touch them now!
You can already see it happening honestly, that 90 agi & str check to punch ruo is already getting outdated with the 100 str or agi check to beat him (still in LH mind you) in the redpill guards competition and thats what? a week after the whole sneak attack bullshit? Just expect to see a triple transformation (sword dao, dragon, heavens), aura and power coming from his *** all thanks to heavens hating tang wei jr lmao.
