I wonder how long Yichen has to live, we always speak on the last hopes of the Wu (Chao & Heir) but we barely speak on the Tangs, growing poorer by the day with only two shangtians (one of which is the strongest man alive) even without the rogues a civil war was always a possibility, I doubt any Tang is as socially maladjusted as Ruo but T Bo near killed a guy for the great crime of *checks script* ignoring him, to think the entire first spat doesn't happen if Bo didn't think giving him the cold shoulder was a crime punishable by death, hell Yuze tries to kill you cause you beat Ruo IN A FAIR FIGHT, hell, not even a fair fight, as Ruo and everyone else take no small pleasure in reminding you the dragon amalgam is (as at then) far more powerful and rebirth or no you don't win that fight if she bothered to use their artefacts
I know I make fun of Yichen and the Tangs in general but come on, ignoring demon queen and the likelihood she just beelines it for castle Tang the moment Yichen kicks the bucket without the strongest man under the heavens how long does it take before the Yang or the Su or maybe non butterfly rogues decide to put the empire under new management

Niki once said that Yichen is saving his strength for one final thing........ But it is still highly likely to be not anytime soon

The civil war has a 95% chances of happening immediately either interrupting this tourney or the immediate aftermath.

I think it depends on how Nicky would play with Ruo's character.

I can totally see Ruo fighting tooth and nail to continue the Tang legacy just outside the POMA world once he gets decent allies that'll give him a platform to train in true cultivation. While at the same time I can also see his character evolving into not caring for his family's legacy nor the empire and instead having a new goal to work towards. Either way it's all on Ruo's hands and I doubt Yichen will be able to solely save the Tang name from dying.

I would not complain if we have a decades long campaign to enjoy in book 2 but I doubt it

I think it depends on how Nicky would play with Ruo's character.

Ruo's Goal will be to become our equal. It would be a parallel to when Ruo was searching for an equal and now she has to catch up to someone else. Not to mention that girl is f*cking obsessed with us (She was willing to break ties with the Tang Clan just after the final tourney fight if they assassinated us)

When TW said a few years, He thought we would have to cultivate in this barren wasteland with no cultivator resources. He also said if we were in qi rich environment (not celestial realm), we would mog all our peers by just breathing, not even cultivating. In the celestial realm, where our God Body can properly function, Wu Heir would grow at an absurd rate. Genius refers to the Su Da or Chu Muchen Equivalent of the Cultivation World. Ruo (10/10 in talent or ability to reach immortality) and Yue Fang (9.9/10 in terms of talent) are monstrous anomalies that completely break the common sense of even geniuses, as Yue Yan (9.5/10 in terms of talent) is a top 15 strongest core formation cultivator in the entire universe, capable of fighting two major realms above her own. Nicky, when asked about how he would rank Wu Heir, said that Wu Heir is literally IMMEASURABLE in terms of talent, His talent cannot be represented nor measured, not even the word "infinite" is enough to describe the unfathomable enormity of Wu Heir's talent.

I think you're taking it literally. I believe it means fate affects the circumstances around one's birth, not their birth itself. MC's Mom finding the mask, overhearing LB and Delun, escaping to mainland, meeting Chao, all these circumstances led to MC's birth. Is it fate or coincidence Delun happened to free us from our 'fate'? Is it fate or deliberation that MC happened to be a perfect clone of TW? Its just a plot tool to justify pushing the narrative in one way.

Well my theory is our grandfather and heaven are slugging it out as far as "fate" is concerned. In the context of the story fate is the most likely path a person life will take due to the circumstances created by external forces. However just like the very act of cultivation the person being affected still chooses how they react to the events of their life. You still have agency, but you got to work with what you have been given.

I think it would take atleast multiple decades to reach CF in a barren world. And this is in an exceptional case because we have a unique means of growing strong in poma, by absorbing the qi of descendents of TW. Idk if even COP can help MC if theres no means to cultivate on a planet. And thats exactly what happened to TW. He had to resort to an extreme plan that encompassed thousands of years to just become strong enough to escape. If not for TW allegedly giving up, He would have probably reached NS by 20 and escaped poma in MC's body.

COP removes the necessity of preparations for an major, Realm breakthrough.

We are seeing Wu Heir reach Foundation Establishment in roughly six months by himself, no manuals or resources(Unless you're Imperial, and with Yichen resources you can reach 150-all/Golden Ocean in literally no time), if anything we can argue about TW's manual being partially infused on Wu Heir but this is a natural, passive thing. Wu Heir is so absurd that just an Pseud-Nirvana manual can push him to 150-all, doesn't even need anything else, just with the Devil Eating.
Now imagine Wu Heir with Qi Stones from Yue/LB, with proper manuals(Immortal Grade, or even the Void-Grade one), training directly under the main heads of either side...etc, actually I would find absurd if Wu Heir needed more than five years for Core-Formation.

In theory... I don't think Niki implemented the drawback yet, as failing it just shows the player the Earthly Fire for some reason. But based on what the text says a fail should increase the numbers of DBs and damage our soul.

That's why I think a new system specifically for soul would be needed if Niki wants to follow with Soul training.

Quite good, for each DB you had you can "eat the Devil" for +3~5 in all attributes. But it doesn't pay the absence of our clan in my view.

The main difference we and that younger TW have is that we are a pureblooded godchild that is even stronger and more divine than other godchildren. We have Godlike Meridians, Spiritual Roots and Dantian (Literally Top Tier stuff), whereas TW had sh*t meridians, trash spiritual roots and a garbage dantian.
