Yichen is a Foundation Establishment Wu Heir victim
I'll grant you - your Wu GOAT glaze is respectable. Truly wonderful times we live in.

Still remember when before the crit checks and stat rework I was out here malding and trying to justify the Wu Heir's pathetic performances like a madman. It was so bad.

Before the rework the single honest full power and unaided cool W the Wu Heir had was the option to solo your way to Long Chen while Ruo and Xiwen were handling him. And after that you come back from the coma and couldn't even one shot that random rock dude in the first arena fight. Embarrassing really. Every fight had the MC looking like Yamcha 3 times before he finally locked in and did something. Constitution was just a glorified damage reduction stat, cause even when you passed the highest con checks you still got damaged, ripped apart and or completely ran through.

Still waiting for those pre-expo and Ruo scene reworks Niki. Cause I simply refuse to believe that Ruo who got absolutely mogged and dunked on by the 3 Rogues who beat him to the brink of death even with his dragon form, was able to completely ignore our punches and almost knock us out with one punch just a few weeks after.

This is considering the fact that the Wu Heir easily toyed with and solo'd 2 Rogues by himself and then moving on to the third right after.

Remember when every single hit of Wu Heir is balanced by like 5 hits from others? I remember the free for all tourney beore the crit check. MC would get battered by everyone before they pull a transformation out of their ***, only to still get battered by everyone except everyone loses morale and just runs away seeing how much of a bullet sponge MC is.

Oh yeah that was the worst. Tbh I am still waiting for the unaided by the Devil DES win, the body only path for the same fight, and a couple other reworks/additions.

It's much better than it was before, especially with the latest updates, but the older content is now lacking in comparison.

Ruo looks like Yamcha everytime she fights anyone relevant but no the side characters will glaze her over someone who has zero loses. One of them is someone who regularly reverse jumps dudes, has never lost a single fight in their life, the single most talented being of all time in the entire universe, most powerful rarest physique in existence, genuinely EX level, has a incredibly powerful transformation into an unparalleled mythical beast, possesses the blood of the highest potency, unparalleled body and qi talent, Dao so immaculate it has heavens p*ssing their pants, the other is Ruo.

Dawg, We will be here for actual eons if Nicky decides to rework the older content (Nicky please rework that sh*t).

I still have issues with these scenes. Not the fights themselves—those are good—but the situation right after, you know? Like, even if you absolutely dominate the 1v12 fight and the battle against the Havoc guys, the text still makes it seem like the MC is exhausted, risking his life, and barely winning. There are other situations like this: like against the two Tangs, where it doesn’t matter if you defeated them in three seconds or three minutes—you still don’t make it in time to save the girl; against the shadow assassins, where no matter what, you always end up running away; against the rogues, where even if you finish the fight in an instant, you still aren’t able to help Ruo (this one isn’t so bad now that I think about it); against the vampire, where even if you beat him like a dog, you still end up using He Mei’s bomb like a clown (I mean, narratively speaking, it makes sense not to think too much and to use whatever help you can get in a desperate situation, but that's not the case if you're winning easily).

I don't ****ing understand this, Ruo is one of the biggest ****ing losers in the game with the amount of times he got ***** slapped and everyone is still over glazing that bum. Wu Heir is the opposite 0 Ls dominating most of their opponents.

Wu Heir is what the Tang Ruo glazers think their beloved prince(ss) is. We need more glazers and d riders man, more women losing their **** over us and stuff like that

To be honest I don't think DES need this change, personally, as it is already very consistent. As Niki himself confirmed DES would destroy Yutai if he tried to go like Wu Heir did(Front to front).
As DES is supposed to be our hardest fight so far(I'll keep my ground about DES > Twins).

But regarding Ruo interaction I agree. This **** is embarrassing and disgustingly inconsistent. Even for pre-rework Wu Heir as we could go toe-to-toe against two(Three if Body Dao, something you could gain for free with Bohai regardless of your primary Dao choice) in the rogue mission, meanwhile Ruo all-out was being trashed by four.
Changing these inconsistent scenes and POVs should be Niki's primary focus on my option, rather than adding male Caihong, but who I'm if not a small potato.

Agreed, as all these scenes were based on pre-rework narrative where the MC narrative prowess was more story progressive and grounded. Pre-rework Yutai's fight was extreme even passing all. Actually you can literally lose to Yutai and get saved by Mei(As she primarily planned), although still a WIP and probably will be removed, just like Mei's transformation(Yes, old Lore Mei had a transformation). So you see how Niki's visualisation of the MC's narrative prowess was more grounded.
But now as his visualisation of MC's prowess progress changed he will need to eventually correct these inconsistencies too.

Am I the only one that wants revenge against He Bojing (Patriarch of the He Clan/He Gang's father) over He Gang? Like, sure, Gang is annoying and the reason Wu Heir was taken hostage at first, but Bojing is the true perpetrator of Wu Ya's death.

By pulling his weight as the He Clan's only Shangtian by imprisoning Wu Heir and sentencing them to death, he forced Wu Ya to use her last fingernail and cripple the Wu Clan for years. It didn't matter she was bedridden and ill, the Wu Clan still counted with someone who could have the strength of a Shangtian momentarily. And so the He Clan can continue to shamelessly steal Wu territory and remain unpunished until Wu Heir becomes a threat to them, until He Bojing is officially neutralized.

I just think that my Wu Heir would feel intense dislike and a bit of indifference for Gang, but hatred? Oh, her hatred would be solely focused on Bojing. Once she reaches Core Formation, the first thing she'll do is go and kill him, no matter her very high saint alignment. That will be the one death she has waited for and will relish in, even.
My Wu Heir just hate everyone in He Clan

Yeah I agree. These moments in particular are ones I also mean when I say that some stuff still needs reworking.

I was particularly salty about the BH fight, cause as you said, even if you dominate and just choose to refuse Mei's poison - she still uses it. I know that narratively it makes sense, because why would an evil sociopathic schemer leave anything up to chance, and also she's not even aware of you being a cultivator by that point. So to her you're just being an idiot.

But man, Niki gives us a chance to beat up a Top 1 dude from another sect with a fearsome reputation and abilities (someone comparable to LC) after we're still salty about what LC did at the expo, only to muddy the victory by using the poison anyway. IMO this fight should be exactly the same, but Niki should actually make it so that if you refuse the poison - you actually refuse it and Mei doesn't use it. Not a full rewrite, but another honest victory path.

Because fighting him now (as I assume was planned at that point) would be like fighting an ant. He's now so beneath the current Wu Heir that leaving him alive for a future battle carries no weight at all.

Also yeah, writing around different paths is unfortunately not Niki's strong suit. He still keeps the same consequences and moments and just does the opposite of writing around them - he just forces them in where they don't make sense.
