Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

Why do people that have reached a very high rank not study other dao? Like why does the sovereign not study the dao of creation when it could reduce the weaknesses of his destruction dao? LB said that if we evolved our dao while not having Tri-Dao we will be barred from ever attaining it, but aren't gods supposed to be anomalies that did the impossible? Can a god only be the god of one dao? Is that why people with more than one dao need to fuse them into another dao? I know that there is no actual answer for why Gods cannot practice multiple dao but what your theories?
From my understanding there 2 types of Dao. Heavenly or natural Dao (which is objectively exist and natural to world) and Personal Dao (which created by cultivator when they achieve Immortal realm and independent from Heaven). Former is Dao person born with, later you form from your life experience, goals, personality etc. And personal Dao can include pretty much any other Dao, but they still will be only part of it.

For example, TW had obsession as personal Dao, but it includes body, space, elements and others. So I think Immortals and Gods can freely study other Dao (both heavenly and personal), but they will be just a part of their Dao (though they will work in some unique way, like only Sovereign destruction Dao can kill even Gods, but not TW who also apparently can use destruction)

Not really. The DAO you are the embodiment of make an insane difference

Like TW dao allows him to do far more versatile things then Sovereign dao but at the trade off of making him worse at combat unlike Sovereign whose destruction dao naturally makes him the opposite in term of trade offs

So TW was the God of three Dao? Why did the 'all gods are more or less the same in power' restriction apply to him then? If he was the embodiment of three separate Dao (Void, Elemetnal, Body) and all three of those have very broad and powerful applications, why wasn't he the most powerful God?

I get the fact that he is acknowledged as the most skillful and broad-spectrum God, but to me it seems weird then that he wasn't the most powerful. At lower levels it makes sense - split yourself into three different aspects and you kinda dilute your influence a little (when you get Tri-Dao your overall level with all of them falls a bit from the level you had before in one), but when you become the very Dao you wield it doesn't make sense that TW's Dao would be split/diluted.

Unless I'm forgetting some detail like TW's three Dao's are actually one split Dao, but even in that case if his one Dao can be split into three very broad and powerful Dao's on its own, it's still iffy as to why TW wasn't worth like three Gods for example. I'd imagine a God of the Elemental Dao would be very powerful on their own, but add to that Void (Time&Space) and Body (Self-Explanatory), and you get a beast.

I actually remember reading somewhere in the discord that his dao was actually obsession, but don't quote me on that. Regardless Tang Wei isn't a god of three dao's, once he reaches Immortality it all fuses into one again.

Also one dao isn't necessarily stronger than another, even if it gives him more options and more versatility they're all equal for the most part.

Niki said that it is a trade off regarding there dao (power vs versatility). And that Sovereign would win in a straight on fight with TW 100%.

The point is still that the gap isn't that big so Sovereign can't 2 v 1 or 1 v 1 do enough damage to kill a God. Not that they are literally identical in power like all 100% equal power instead of say one 100% and another 110%. So Sovereign still objectively stronger then the human gods individually from a power standpoint (without considering things like prep time)

Actually I read that too. Some say his dao is obsession and some say his dao is creation. Dao means your "way" or "path". TW's dao is obsession if you are looking at the literal meaning of the dao because his path is obsession but it is creation if you consider the in-game meaning of the Dao. His interpretation of his dao could have led him to his dao of creation. Since no person has the exact same dao, there is really possibility of us having creation dao, our fused dao will be different.

Feel like our Godhood dao being Chaos Dao would be interesting

Wonder how strong the MC would be with all 3 paths in his God stage
Significantly stronger than TW, if he follows TW's path, Would make TW look like a ant if MC creates his own path and reaches the heights I am expecting him to reach. MC would have all of TW's spells plus some of his own, a significantly better body and qi core. Unless MC has Primordial Chaos Dao and Divine level Trio Cultivation (Qi, Body, and Soul), He will only ever be equal to SLM.

I have a question. Why does everyone think the MC will be much stronger than TW at the God Stage? I'm genuinely curious. Sure, the MC has a better start, but that's not because he's inherently better than TW—it's because he's literally inherited almost everything from TW. He inherited TW's body cultivation method, a much better body than the one TW had at the beginning, although I imagine that won't make much of a difference by the time they reach the God Stage. Even the Golden Seed was inherited from TW, so I assume it's of the same quality. So why does everyone think the MC will surpass him? I still don't understand that part. So far, I haven't seen anything that even suggests he'll surpass TW.

The only way I can see the MC surpassing TW is by reaching a realm beyond the God stage, assuming such a realm even exists. Otherwise, I don't see any chance of him being any different. But even then, that still wouldn't change the fact that the MC wouldn't have surpassed TW while they were both at the God stage.

Exactly because Wu heir have a far better start. TW most likely spends hundred of thousands years (if not millions) to create his broken spells like LB offer to us, Godchild body, RAF and such. MC can spend this time to modify and bettering them instead.

TW himself said Wu heir Seed have his insights, so it basically Chaos physique + God realm insights = even more broken Dao seed.
As for feats, with Nicky saying that POMA ends with second book looks like Wu heir will achieve Nascent Soul power level before even 30 and should be able to match Yue Yan at Core Formation (who can fight 2 major realms above). At same time TW was in his seventies (if I remember correctly) at Core Formation and stood no chance against Blood King (apparently normal Nascent Soul cultivator)

Well Gods more or less equal, but some more than others, which already imply it possible to become stronger as God. And TW was a child compared to other Gods, MC should be able to suprass him simply by cultivating longer.
Not to mention Wu heir can in theory study Soul cultivation along with Body and Qi, which should already put him above TW. Plus unlike TW, MC is not obsessed madman, there no need to rush cultivation for Tang Xue or something

Godhood likely works like S in that how much power you get when you ascended is likely the peak since I remember a Niki quote about the fact that TW got desperate to do the underworld ritual because he already reach the top stage and couldn't get much stronger (not the reverse)

Mc also won't be at Yan full power at Core Formation

From my perspective you guys are completely crazy tbh. I don't see why Wu heir in particular would reach a god+ realm no one reached before or whatever. He's just TW on ng+
Doesn't matter since the story will never even remotely touch that part so no point hyping up another realm beyond godhood. It would apparently be be easier than breathing for wu heir to get stronger. I mean you can write a difficult journey for even an unfathomable genius like MC filled with politics, mind games, tension and catharsis but that requires an insanely skilled and talented author. Nicky is simply not skilled enough to write at that level yet. Another thing is that why does wu heir need to reach a beyond god realm to be the strongest? SLM is stronger than the sovereign and both are gods, If Nicky bothered to write till book 19 and we finally got to the godhood, wu heir would already be capable of fighting like 10 stages above his own. Just be the God of a Dao that actually has more aura than the Sovereign's destruction dao and you are now the goat.

I mean if to be fair the game currently barely touches on our potential on account that Wu heir never bothers to train a day in his life, so we could continue to do that. Nicky could just write a simple plot of "the gods plotting against the rising reincarnation of TW in fear of his potential" and that could probably challenge us at least past NS only because we'll never capitalize on said potential

Real reason is simply that Niki doesn't want/isn't that motivated to continue for Wu mc past NS

And Niki actually said that for Nikiverse book if he made one. The mc would be Butterfly scheming type

It's already been confirmed that MC would be Yan level at Core Formation if he gets out of this sh*thole. There is a reason Nicky said that writing MC past NS would have no challenge.
Even if CF mc got immediately teleported instead of at mc. We still wouldn't be at Yan level at Core Formation because we would immediately jump a few realms to higher when we breath the qi in the air

"Ahh yes, the breathe two times to become immortal and three times to become god technique that I haven't used since the TW Era". What if we were transported to CR when we are Foundation Establishment? We can also chose just force our body to not breakthrough if Wu Heir is just canonically an aura farmer and wants to mog the Elite CR Geniuses.
