TW still is a COP holder but in that scene he just breakthrough, so, a COP holder that is a CF for, approximately, five minutes, against the Avarage CF of the Celestial Realm(Lichen, according to Nicky. Meanwhile the "normal" Shangtian is the Average CF out the Celestial Realm, so Dijians).
I'd say the Tamer of Hills in his prime would win, but that's just my opinion too. Giving we don't know much about if TW dao evolved to a Sprout between the moment he unlocks the Seed(18 years) to the moment he ascends to CF.
Do we actually know if CF TW even had Body Refining? I thought that we could dual-cultivate Body and Dao only because we are a Godchild (Tang Wei remade our body) while when TW was at CF he was just a Dao cultivator.
As far as I remember from general lore or maybe even my own assumptions - An average Houtian, Xiantian, Shangtian - beat an average Qi Refining, Qi Sea, CF cultivator in a straight out battle, simply due to the fact that they have both Spells (Arts) and an inherent Godchild Body Refining ability (scaled off of BP). But to be fair Qi Cultivator Spells and Arts are probably more powerful/versatile than IE ones, and they also have the benefit of the Dao Seed, Sprout, Tree, etc.
Just to be clear - I am not talking about Celestial Realm people but Diijans.
So yeah I think that Lichen would easily win this one simply due to him having a powerful body as well (at least in his prime).
If I'm not remembering wrong, LB said TW just started Body Refining after he created the Primordial Chaos Body. Since you need to breakthrough through all stages of the Macro Mortal Realm with prismatic stars to be able to ascend to Godhood in this path.
That's right, though Nicky statement is just that "the average S can do well against the average CF" rather than a S can beat one:
i mean this mroe due to the fact that shagtians dont really specialize, cuz if they were in the celestial realm they would more likely specialize more into either body cultivation or qi cultivation
i.e if CF is 100 in qi cultivation then our shagtians are 70 body refining and 70 spells, and if they were in the celestial realm then they would be by 140 in one specialization and become considerably stonger than the average CF in that specific aspect
Definitely retconned if he is truly kicking us out before we hit CF, if this stood true we are in lore as strong as the average CF at only qi sea
